Age of Wonders 4: Best faction

On this guide page you will learn about one of the best factions available in AoW4. This is the dilemma you, as a novice player, will face when you play your first game. When choosing a faction, it is worth looking at both the general effects of the faction and how your units will perform in battles.

Which faction to choose?

We recommend the Human Paladins faction - you will play as an universal Empire with many bonuses and perks. Below are some reasons why we think it is the best choice.

1. A high level of Order Affinity equals a high income in gold. The level is 6 which should give you 12 gold in the city. Gold is very important to your Empire due to the cost of recruiting and maintaining units.
2. Another bonus is a 30% increase in experience after battles for your units and regenerating units' health by 5 points every turn on the campaign map.
3. In addition, High Culture grants you additional 1-alignments and other global bonuses, with Imperialists being the most significant attribute, which provides your cities bordering the Throne City 20 to Stability and 20 to Gold. In addition, the Throne City starts with 1 population.

All this means that if you are a novice player, this faction will make the game much easier for you.
