Chosen Destroyer is a perk for your Faction, and it is quite unique:

1. Razing cities grant a permanent +40 gold, +20 Mana, and 20 Knowledge income.

It is also important to invest in Chaos Affinity in Empire Development. There are some very powerful perks there, especially:

1. War Slaves – Razing Cities grants +1 Population to one of your Cities for every 3 Population of the city that was razed.
2. Spoils of Destruction – Razing Cities yields +20 Gold permanent income.
3. Destiny Conquer – +30 Grievance against all other Empires. These cannot be traded or lost. Gain +50 Gold and +50 Mana per active War you are involved in.
4. Reign of Destruction – Razing Cites takes -2 Turns less and yields +50% more resources. Gain a Unit tier 3 of the razed city’s culture.
