Destiny 2: The Invitation - how to claim the Triumph Menagerie reward?

Collecting the Menagerie Triumph reward is part of an obscure and hugely problematic quest called The Invitation. If you've made your first run through The Menagerie and got stuck in the process of picking up the reward from The Menagerie Triumph, then we have a solution for you!

How to collect the reward from Triumph Menagerie?

Unfortunately, the rewards for running through The Menagerie can't be picked up by returning to Werner's Barge 99-40, or from the quest log view. To collect your reward from Menagerie Triumph, you must first go to the character menu and select the Triumphs tab. Then go through the following tabs: Destinations > Minor > Menagerie. The rewards you can pick up will be marked with a small plus - just click on them to complete the task.
