10 Worst Games of 2023 - Editors' Choice
2023 brought plenty of great games, but there were also those of questionable quality. And we aren't talking about niche indie games from remote corners of Steam, but rather games from large publishers made on large budgets.

The matter of Diablo IV is rather controversial. As you may know, this is a game from a studio that's currently facing public backlash. Because Blizzard prioritizes profit over players. Players who can actually affect the development of the game in a positive way. In the case of Diablo IV, the further into hell, the worse it gets.
Blizzard's game is both praised and criticized at the same time. The emphasis on MMO and the limited amount of content wasn't well received. Besides, the game gets boring, repetitive, and lacks challenge, and the open world, in fact, generates more cons than pros. Nonetheless, plenty of people are playing Diablo IV, although almost everyone agrees that this title should be improved. Especially at that price.
Hubert Sosnowski in defense
I simply... liked that game. And I stand by my high rating. It's true, the first season was crap. However, the new season has clearly caught up. The game has been greatly improved, with some bugs being fixed (a few mechanics still need to be polished up, though), and the seasonal content and additional passives offer fun and options for developing our character. The basic strengths haven't changed - it's a cool-looking, dark slasher with a decent storyline and plenty of quests and great characters to check out. I'll be coming back to this game from time to time.
