Players who remember, for example, Harvest Moon: Back to Nature from the first PlayStation probably noticed Stardew Valley at the first opportunity. This game is a brilliant tribute to this representative of the classics, although in the end it offers much more – a lot has changed in the genre since the days of yore. In the work of the one-man studio ConcernedApe, there's basically everything, starting from an unforgettable and idyllic atmosphere. The game was already delightful on the day of its release, but it got even better over time.
Taking care of the farm itself takes a lot of time. But sometimes, you have to go out and meet some people. And there's no shortage of them in Stardew Valley. The nearby Pelican Town is inhabited by all kinds of characters. And just like in the cult series, festivals and other types of events are organized here, in which we can take an active part. The colorful inhabitants will sometimes ask for help, and if we get to know them well enough, the relationship can turn into something much more significant.
In other words – Pelican Town is alive, and we want to visit it and get to know it better. Stardew Valley offers content for literally hundreds of hours, during which we often visit this charming town – if only to give someone a birthday present. Even when you think you've got them out of your head, everything will come back to you when you reappear in the main square and greet the first characters. This place is simply unforgettable.
