Table of Contents

2. Elden Ring – open world souls game

  1. Release date: February 25, 2022
  2. Genre: action RPG
  3. Developer: FromSoftware
  4. Platforms: Windows PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S

What will Elden Ring be about?

Of course, we will find out when we play Elden Ring , because the developers from FromSoftware traditionally do not reveal too much about the plot of their games. Everything is hidden somewhere in the world created by them, and it is only up to the player how many curiosities he can find. We start knowing only that we will face the six demigods from whom the fragments of the title ring must be taken. It is also known that the author of Game of Thrones – George RR Martin helped in inventing this world . As always, we can count on a gloomy dark fantasy atmosphere, original bosses and other opponents with whom we will have to fight exhausting and difficult duels.

Why are we waiting?

FromSoftware studio discovered some secret way to make something generally repulsive – that is, positions extremely difficult, not very accessible and not easy to follow their plot – tempting to reach for it anyway. Perhaps this is the legendary challenge to finally overcome these games, perhaps the atmosphere and uniqueness of the worlds created by the authors, or all of this together. Anyway, since none of their works have failed yet, you can bet blind that Elden Ring will be another sensational production in the FromSoftware portfolio and one of the more successful titles of 2022.
