What will Gran Turismo 7 be about?

Fast cars in huge numbers and the possibility to test them on the most famous circuits in the world in one of the most popular series in this genre. This title is intended to re-focus on the single-player campaign, rather than mainly on the online struggles that dominated Gran Turismo Sport on PS4. As usual, there will be hundreds of licensed car brands and a bit more emphasis on realism instead of arcade racing in the style of Forza Horizon . Fans of digging under the hood will find here a lot of opportunities to tune their rides – even the smallest change is to have an impact on the behavior on the road.

Why are we waiting?

Throughout the last generation, Sony has greatly neglected the racing genre and fans of this type of gameplay. Instead of the coveted Gran Turismo 7 , a kind of spin-off was released aimed at online struggles – too difficult and often too frustrating for many less hardcore players. In turn, the warmly received DriveClub did not get a sequel, only the servers were shut down.

Car fans were forced to switch to the competition platform with the sensational Forza or to reach for inferior quality products. Gran Turismo 7 is therefore a long overdue, and thus – a very longed-for game for the Sony console. This title should use the full capabilities of the new controllers and operate in 60 frames and in 4K resolution, which is of great importance when racing head to head on a tight curve.
