Untitled Goose Game – Wreak double the havoc with a free update

During their Indie World Showcase Nintendo announced that Untitled Goose Game, the smash hit from developer House House, would be getting a free update. This update will allow a second player to join in the chaos, and is a truly honorable mention in this overview.

Since its release last September, House House’s Untitled Goose Game has been a surprise hit among fans and critics alike. The premise is dead simple: You have a to-do list of mayhem to cause about a small neighborhood, and you're a goose.

Being a goose comes with its complications. You aren’t very fast and you aren’t very strong. But you can twist a sprinkler here and steal a sandwich there, and suddenly the humans are too busy dealing with their sprinklers and sandwiches. Which leaves you free to get to the important projects, like putting the rake in the lake.

At the end of yesterday’s Indie World Showcase, it was announced that on September 23rd (just a few days after the game’s one year anniversary) Untitled Goose Game would be getting a free update allowing for a second goose player to join in.

One clever goose can accomplish so much. Two geese working together? Not much will be able to save the residents of the quiet village.

Find a friend who enjoys causing trouble as much as you and prepare to honk your way to village domination. The free update for Untitled Goose Game arrives on September 23rd.
