Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

  1. In a nutshell: MMO jRPG
  2. Genre: MMORPG
  3. Business model: pay-to-play

On their first attempt, Square Enix delivered a medium-quality MMORPG. However, the company closed the project, took a long break, and returned with one of the best games in the genre currently available. On top of that, this game also boasts perhaps the kindest community you can find anywhere on-line.

It may seem exaggerated, but you really have to try it yourself. No matter what your current goals are in Final Fantasy XIV, others are always willing to lend a hand. You just have to ask. It's even better when you join the Free Company and start using reward mechanisms for connecting with other people.

For a start, it is best to go to one of the cities, make yourself comfortable and join any of the conversations going on. Even the gaming forum is surprisingly tidy. Really, when it comes to community, Final Fantasy XIV is your go-to.
