The Best Games Available on PS5 - Editors' Choice

The PlayStation 5 has been on the market for more than two years now. What are the best games we can play on it right now? We decided to make a selection, and that's how we came up with a list of the best PS5 games currently available.

Astro’s Playroom

Astro's Playroom, Sony Interactive Entertainment, 2020 - The Best Games You'll Play on PS5 - Editor's Choice - Document - 11/05/2022
Astro's Playroom, Sony Interactive Entertainment, 2020
  1. Genre: platformer
  2. Play it if: you've been a PlayStation fan for years; you like good and creative platformer games
  3. Don't play if: you aren't looking for a good time
  4. Similar games: Tearaway, Astro Bot Rescue Mission
  5. Average rating on Metacritic: 83

I can't imagine a player who would never smile while playing Astro's Playroom. Sony has prepared a phenomenally extensive technological demo for its newest console in the form of a charming platformer. The whole thing uses many of the solutions and ideas from the great Astro Bot Rescue Mission, which should already be enough of a recommendation.

Astro's Playroom will perfectly familiarize you with the unique functions of the DualSense controller, and at the same time will provide you with great fun! Plus, it's a true love letter to Sony's entire gaming heritage, going back to their very first console. Here, you will find countless easter eggs relating to the most important games that have shaped the current PlayStation brand.

This production is free for every PlayStation 5 owner. There are several stages to complete, which will take you from two to four hours to get through. You have absolutely no excuse not to give this game a chance.
