The cult-classic game of which difficulty is the stuff of legends now looks so much better graphically wise. The new version of Dwarf Fortress introduces not only improved graphics. We also received an reworked interface and finally a tutorial that allows the players to familiarize themselves with the rules. After all, building a home for your dwarves is not an easy task and even the least bit of help will come in handy.
The biggest advantage (and for some a disadvantage) of Dwarf Fortress is the fact that the game is an actual sandbox. You enter the map and proceed as you please. We have to set goals ourselves and create our own story, the heroes of which will be the dwarves under our control. The changes made to Dwarf Fortress have made the game accessible like never before, and now is the best time to try it out.
