An arcade multiplayer game with MOBA elements. Switchblade has been developed by Lucid Games, a studio comprising of the creators of the Project Gotham Racing series. The game takes the player into the future, in which they assume the role of a participant of futuristic sports matches. During each match, the player gets to drive one of the available vehicles and together with other players is tasked with destroying the opponents’ towers. In order to do this, one can utilize diversified features of their machines - some of them to fix, others to deal damage, etc. Moreover, during the game, small robots called mobs appear on the map to distract and attack the enemies. These robots should be protected, as they are the key to success. Nonetheless, one has to destroy the enemy mobs. Switchblade has been based on Unreal Engine, the same technology utilized in the production of Gears of War 4. The game is available as free-to-play.

A turn-based strategy game developed by Conifer Games under the lead of Jon Shaker - one of the lead developers of Sid Meier’s Civilization V. In At the Gates, the action takes place in the latter part of Roman Empire domination over Europe, and players assume control of a small barbaric tribe trying to take advantage of the fading Roman power to dominate the Old Continent. One starts the game with limited resources and has to explore uninviting lands and gather resources. In time, one can move their tribe to a more fertile area and also launch trade and diplomatic relations with other nations, to use them to their advantage and then wipe them out. The main challenge posed by the game is the limited amount of available resources, which forces the players to continuously search for them. At the Gates is filled with various battles, during which one has to execute tactical maneuvers as well as take advantage of landform and changing weather conditions.

Pikuniku is a humorous and charming 2D game mixing arcade and puzzle genres, created by independent studio Sectordub, formed by developers like Arnaud de Brock (Reigns), Remi Forcadell (Giraffes Volleyball Championship 2016), Alan Zucconi (ORBITALIS) and Calum Bowen (Lovely Planet). Gameplay revolves around traversing locations while solving simple puzzles and interacting with interesting characters. All of this is set in an absurd style, which uses simple visuals with clear colors and equally simple sounds. We can play both alone and with a friend through a local multiplayer mode.

A remake of the second part of the famous survival-horror franchise Resident Evil, which debuted on the PlayStation console in 1998 and was later ported to other consoles and PC / Windows. Resident Evil 2 Remake was developed by the Capcom’s leading team, R&D Division 1, for the latest gaming platforms. The game is based on the original plot with slightly modified mechanics. The action takes place a few months after the events of the game’s first part, when after a moment of calmness, a deadly zombie epidemic once again plagues Raccoon City. The player follows the story of a rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy and a young girl – Claire Redfield – who arrived in the city in search of her brother. Early into the story, the two protagonists are separated and from there on the action is seen from two different points of view, and the characters’ stories develop slightly differently.

A third main entry in the popular jRPG series, started in 2002 on PlayStation 2 console. The production, developed by Square-Enix, is a closing act of the story taking place in a unique fantasy universe, which combines the worlds of several movies and TV dramas created by Disney with the Final Fantasy series. The main characters are Sora, Riku, and Kairi from the previous games, along with well-known Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, or Goofy. We witness the final face-off between light and dark, the latter embodied by an organization named XIII, led by master Xehanort. While the visuals have been significantly enhanced, Kingdom Hearts III employs the mechanics and fighting system known from its predecessors. We observe the game’s world from third-person perspective, while during the real-time battles we can count on the support from our two allies, each with a unique set of skills.

After doing so, we will have to connect them with the right cables. The game uses a simple and intuitive interface. The creator of PC Building Simulator was authorized by the leading manufacturers of PC parts to use the likeness of their products. Thanks to that, we will use PC parts that we can actually buy in stores.

This time around, the action of the game is set not in the depths of an underground ocean but in the mysterious cosmic space known as “The High Wilderness”, which Queen Victoria wanted to use as a foundation for the New British Empire. The main protagonist of this story is an outcast, who objects the rule of the iron fist imposed by the Queen. During the game, a player observes the action from the top-down perspective. Gameplay revolves around exploring new locations, gathering supplies, fighting encountered enemies, and maintaining more or less friendly relationships with diverse groupings inhabiting the vast space. Similarly to the previous installment, in Sunless Skies a player has to mind his decisions, as even a small mistake might lead to the mission’s end and the death of the main protagonist. Player’s actions affect the direction of the story. Additionally, all the visited locations are procedurally generated – this makes each playthrough different and filled with diverse challenges.

A fantasy action RPG created by experienced developers from Inti Creates. Dragon: Marked for Death takes place in a dark world explored by one of four protagonists called the ‘Dragonkin’. Thanks to the pact the protagonists made with the dragons, they have special abilities that give them advantage in battles with monsters in the realm. The action in the game is shown from a side perspective and the gameplay focuses on traveling through various locations, completing story and side missions and participating in real-time battles. Among the opponents there are ones that are many times the size of the protagonists. The key to success lies in taking advantage of the unique skills of selected character. The game can be played alone, but it was designed with cooperation mode for up to four players in mind. The title features graphics that resemble 16-bit genre classics.

The game takes us to a world where modern technology and fantastic beings collide. We play as a brave young boy who goes on various dangerous adventures during which he, along with his friends, fights with enemies. As we play, we explore the game’s world, beat the game’s platform elements, collect items, and fight with enemies. We can recruit every character we meet, including our opponents. It requires us to convince them to do so, so we will have to be really thoughtful and creative when talking with them. AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected features quite unusual but still good looking visuals. The game’s colorful world is in 3D, but all characters are 2D sprites.
