Strategy games. Victory depends here on player’s strategy and tactics. Main task is to control resources (e.g. troops, civil workers) in order to defeat an enemy or achieve some other goal. Star Ruler 2 takes place in a distant future, where humanity developed a technology that allowed long-distance interstellar travel, and made a contact with other sentient species. Before the game starts we have to select one of the few races that we can turn into an intergalactic power.

The Ember Conflict is set in a fantasy land, but unlike many similar games, it does not feature a story campaign, focusing entirely on multiplayer battles (one-on-one and two-on-two). The battles are short, up to several minutes long. The controls in The Ember Conflict are gesture-based, and you lead your troops by drawing lines on the screen.
