An unusual 2D platform game inspired by the popular indie game Thomas Was Alone. In the game created by Japanese developers under the aegis of FullPowerAttack.com, the player gets to control a gentleman locked in a colorful box. The trap, in which the main protagonist is locked, has a certain interesting feature – each wall has a different color and can be expanded on the outside. When properly manipulated, the box can be moved – this way, the player can use the laws of physics to solve environmental puzzles and overcome the obstacles scattered throughout fifty levels constituting the main campaign. Together with relatively straightforward gameplay mechanics, the game delivers simple controls – one has to utilize only six buttons. The visuals follow the 8-bit convention and are based on geometrical shapes.

A game that combines shooter and hack and slash mechanics. It was created by One More Level - a Polish developer popular for Warlocks vs Shadows. The protagonist is called Zoran and he is a veteran of the Balkan Wars, who escapes from war atrocities to New York. To serve his penance, he becomes a local priest. Unfortunately, once it turns out that ruthless mobsters have become a threat to the people he serves, Zoran decides to bring justice the hard way. The action is viewed from above and the game is very dynamic. Also, it does not tolerate the player's mistakes - one hit kills the protagonist. Consequently, the player has to plan before they act; using the protagonist's special ability (the so-called Divine Focus) is also crucial for success. This ability makes the time pass only when the protagonist is in motion. Once depleted, it can be recharged by killing enemies. Sword and pistol are the protagonist's basic weapons, but more of them are waiting for the player to discover. Apart from the single-player story campaign, the game offers separate levels for the co-op mode. Among other top-down view games, God's Trigger stands out with its three-dimensional, cel-shaded graphics.

The gameplay is built around the exploration of a virtual world which often throws numerous riddles at us and sees us face the aforementioned monsters. Our hero traverses the levels by jumping, swimming, or even flying, all the while gathering gems and keys using a special boomerang. The player assumes the role of a king, traversing the world, who acquires new subjects by giving gold to settlers. As a result, newly recruited subjects build and develop villages, creating tools, weapons, and fortifications essential for defense against raiding trolls. Compared to the original flash version, new edition offers a bigger and more developed world. New methods of defense were introduced, as well as randomly generated challenges, awaiting in nearby forests. The game also contains a dynamic weather system, and fire mechanics – both these elements can have a positive, as well as negative impact on our kingdom. As one of the mainstays of the game, the title reprises pixel-art visuals, and complete lack of any user interface.

Shooty Skies was developed by the same team that was responsible for the surprisingly well-received Crossy Road. This time, the player takes control of a character in a flying machine – at the beginning, you’re a cat in a monoplane – and shoots down enemies (including arcade cabinets, giant mouths, huge beavers, computer monitors and such) approaching from the opposite direction as long as he can. Shooty Skies is discerned by its interesting controls. The plane fires automatically, but to move it, we need to swipe our finger. Releasing the finger launches a powerful rocket attack – useful when fighting more powerful opponents – which sadly exposes us to enemy fire, which adds certain tactical depth to this small arcade game. During our run, we encounter various upgrades and items spawning allied wingmen. Shooty Skies is also distinguished by its colorful visuals, build from huge voxels.

Quantum Replica is a cyberpunk stealth game with metroidvania elements developed by a small Colombian studio ON3D. The game is set in a distant future where people live in enormous metropolises and their lives are completely controlled by the government. Our protagonist is an exception of that rule. Not only he doesn’t remember who he actually is and what is he supposed to do, but he is also not registered, making him the most wanted person in the city. The only way to regain his memory and find his purpose is to deal with all adversities and get into the heart of the metropolis. Quantum Replica is a stealth game where action is presented from an isometric point of view. Unlike in other similar games, we do not use the game's environment to hide. Instead, we use our hero's time manipulation abilities. He can sneak unseen, move through walls, and catch enemies in ‘time bubbles’. As we progress, we gain access to more powerful abilities that come in handy when facing bosses.

A two-dimensional action adventure game created by Thomas Brush (who worked for Atmos Games), the creator of such free games as Coma! and Skinny!. Pinstripe focuses on two important topics: faith and fatherhood. The player assumes the role of a former pastor, named Teddy, whose daughter was kidnapped by a mysterious creature which calls itself God. The player starts chasing the creature and soon reaches the hell – surprisingly covered with ice. In this unorthodox version of afterlife the player will visit six main locations: forest, dark caves, train, lake, canyon and mountains. While exploring these places one will encounter many interesting characters and learn their stories. During majority of the time the protagonist is accompanied by a talkative dog that helps him in solving riddles and finding clues that reveal the past of the protagonist. Controls in Pinstripe are similar to ones in typical 2D platform games and the game features action sequences. In order to defeat some obstacles Teddy will resort to using a shotgun. Sometimes the weapon is also useful against opponents.

A three-dimensional adventure game in the form of a courtroom drama, inspired by the popular Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney series. It was created by The Moonwalls studio's sole member - a lawyer and a game enthusiast who developed the game almost entirely on his own. The story is set in a steampunk alternative vision of the 19th century Paris. The protagonist faces the court, being accused of a brutal murder of a young woman. The player's task is to convince the court of his innocence. The game features two timelines. The courtroom is the center of the story, where witnesses can be heard testifying or the judge asks questions. These launch flashbacks, which take the player back to the day the crime was committed. The player's role is to perform certain actions which are going to confirm or deny a given testimony. In order to clear the protagonist of charges, the player can also lie, support their testimony with additional proof or even pretend to be insane. Depending on the tactics used, the player can witness one of dozen different endings.

A spin off to the popular Plants vs. Zombies series in a form of a mobile card game with tower defense elements. The production introduces themes inspired by superhero stories. Apart from the wide range of regular units known from the previous parts, the title introduces hero units that can be found on both sides of the conflict. Gameplay focuses on fights in which the players use personally-built decks of cards representing characters and their special skills. Combat takes place on levels divided into several vertical lanes, in a manner resembling a tower defense game. During the game, players activate cards in turns, summoning units, putting them on lanes, or making them use their superpowers. Plants vs. Zombies Heroes concentrates on multiplayer, although the game offers a single player campaign as well.

A remarkable action adventure game in which the plot and the mechanics are based solely on the audio. The title was developed by DOWiNO, a French studio, in cooperation with the France Culture radio station and is addressed for both blind players and those who seek completely new experiences in gaming. The action of A Blind Legend is set in a medieval fantasy setting. In the game, we assume the role of a blind knight, Edward Blake, who sets out to rescue his wife alongside his daughter, Louise. The title is devoid of any graphics whatsoever. While playing, we traverse subsequent locations, talk to encountered characters, and even fight only on the basis of our surroundings’ sounds and our daughter voice, which points us the way and gives necessary hints. The protagonist is controlled by gestures drawn on a touchscreen or with a mouse.

A compilation of two remastered versions of action-adventure games from the Batman: Arkham series with all DLC packs. The refreshed versions were created by Virtuos, a company which previously created other remastered games. Batman: Return to Arkham consists of two games: Batman: Arkham Asylum from 2009 and Batman: Arkham City from 2011. The first title takes place in a mental facility taken over by Joker and other villains. The second part takes place in an isolated district in which especially dangerous criminals were locked. Both games have open locations and action-based mechanics. What’s characteristic for the series is spectacular combat based on combo system – the longer the series of attacks, the stronger the hero’s hits. Batman also has access to technologically advanced gadgets which are used not only for combat, but for traveling through the game world and for solving riddles as well. The games featured in Batman: Return to Arkham compilation offer improved graphics powered by Unreal Engine 4.

A tech-noir tactical action game with a spy thriller setting. All Walls Must Fall is set in 2089, in an alternative reality in which the Berlin Wall never fell and the Cold War still lasts. To make things worse, the rivalry between the East and the West has resulted in a nuclear disaster. You play as a group of intelligence agents, who travel back in time and get one night to prevent the catastrophe from happening. The decisions you make during the game can have a great effect on the world's future. The gameplay in All Walls Must Fall is shown in an isometric view. The game takes place in procedurally generated locations — mostly in Berlin nightclubs, which allows you to hide in the crowd — and your main tasks are exploration and gathering important information from NPCs. The game also features a tactical combat mode with an active pause option. An important element of the game is turning back time, which helps you to avoid the consequences of your oversights. The visuals have been inspired by communist propaganda posters.

Another installment of the legendary series of first-person shooters developed by id Software. The series became very popular mostly thanks to its great and well-balanced multiplayer modes. Quake Champions concentrates on that aspect of the gameplay and lacks a classic campaign mode. Instead, it features dynamic gameplay for many players. The matches are played in a few varied PvP modes. One of the biggest and most controversial new features is allowing the players to control one of many completely different characters with unique special abilities. This lets the players choose a character whose fighting style fits their preferences. The developers made sure that abilities of some characters won’t give anyone unfair advantage during the matches and that the outcome of rounds – similarly as in previous installments of the series – depends only on skills of the players.

Considered the spiritual successor to the classic Ultima Underworld, Underworld Ascendant is a first-person cRPG developed by OtherSide Entertainment, a team led by Paul Neurath - the co-creator of Ultima. The game is set in the Stygian Abyss, a place known among the fans of the series - an underground world inhabited by three races that fight for power. Assuming the role of a character described by one of the three available classes, the player picks one side of the conflict in order to experience an epic adventure in a world filled with underground towns, mazes, temples, huge cavern systems, as well as dense forests. The game is played from the first-person view; as for combat, the game utilizes a real-time system which involves use of traditional weapons and spells. Apart from individual skills of one's character, in order to succeed, one also has to pay attention to their mobility, reflexes, and the ability to take advantage of the shape of terrain. What is distinctive about the game, the player is given a lot of freedom concerning their approach to gameplay, and the events change in a dynamic way in response to the player's actions.

An online shooter taking place during the American Civil War. The game was developed by Campfire Games, for which War of Rights is the debut project. The developers introduced a number of historic campaigns that allow us to choose a side, as well as our duties on the battlefield – we can assume the role of a frontline soldier, or a general who controls the whole battle from the headquarters. The player who chooses the role of a commander stays in the base and makes strategic decisions that have to go through the whole chain of command in real time until they reach the captains of the individual regiments. Frontline commanders can either comply and execute the order, or incite a mutiny and act as they see fit. The battles take place in authentic locations, while soldiers of both Union and Confederacy use the same weapons and wear the same uniforms that were used during the conflict.

King of Thieves is a mobile arcade game that blends elements of platformers and tower defense games. The game was developed by the creators of Pudding Monsters and Cut the Ropes series but, unlike these games, King of Thieves is aimed at mid-core gamers and focuses on online multiplayer. We play as the titular king of thieves who breaks into dungeons designed by other players. We have to avoid traps and collect as much treasures as possible, which, considering how dangerous those dungeons can be, is not an easy task. The game offers an asynchronous multiplayer, just like Clash of Clans. Some players try to rob dungeons, while others try their best to make their creations as thief-proof as possible. King of Thieves is a free-to-play game with optional microtransactions.

Focusing around the asynchronous multiplayer mode, a third-person action game adaptation of the classic horror movie Friday the 13th. Known for the tactical simulation series Breach & Clear, Gun Media studio is the developer of the game. The key figures connected with the film series, such as Sean S. Cunningham, Kane Hodder, Tom Savini, and Harry Manfredini, have had their hand in the production. The action is set in the close vicinity of the Crystal Lake, a location known from the movies, and gameplay revolves around multiplayer mode for up to 8 players – one player assumes the role of the murderer Jason Voorhees and the others play as his potential victims. Jason needs to, of course, kill every other player, while the victims’ objective is to avoid getting murdered and, with a bit of luck and cooperation, to exterminate the masked psycho. The game is created in a way which gives the players a feeling of constructing their own movie script.

We take on the role of a girl named Alex, who is about to graduate middle school and to celebrate that, she travels with a group of friends to an island that has been the students’ customary place to say their farewells. As it turns out, during the party Alex and her companions have accidentally opened a gateway to another dimension, and the peace of teenagers is interrupted by increasingly strange phenomena, such as unnatural sounds and specters. Since a ghost's presence can’t always be detected with the naked eye, the heroine has to resort to a special radio that, after finding the proper wave frequency, helps her prepare for the possible attack in advance. The dark atmosphere of Oxenfree is complemented by climatic graphics, employing common horror movie filters, as well as an ominous soundtrack.
