BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is a classic representative of the fighting games genre. It was developed by Arc System Works. The game is a 2.5D fighting game – it means that gameplay mechanics are fully two-dimensional despite the fact that locations are made in 3D. Tag system is the heart of the game. The player chooses two characters before the battle. They can control only one of them simultaneously but can also switch between them during the fight. Each of the fighters has a separate health bar. The title features a large variety of characters, including ones from games BlazBlue, Persona 4 Arena, Under Night in-Birth and the animated series RWBY. All characters feature unique fighting styles with various special attacks and combos. Developers introduced a few single player modes, but the multiplayer is most enjoyable part of the game – it can be played on a single screen or via Internet.

A hybrid of a visual novel and a tactical role-playing game. The title was developed by studio Leaf and company Aquaplus. The game is a direct sequel to Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and tells the further story of Haku and his friends who are tasked with assuming control of the military forces of the Yamato Empire and using them to protect the territory from hostile neighbors. Like before, long visual novel sequences are intertwining with very short tactical battles. However, the developers introduced some changes and improvements, thanks to which the players gain more possibilities when it comes to using their forces on the battlefield. There are new types of side missions available as well. The battles once again take place on three-dimensional maps with a grid. All units are moving on the grid fields. Although the battles are turn-based, they feature action sequences. When a character performs an action and the player presses a button at a correct time, various bonuses are activated - including critical hits. Other novelties include cooperation attacks, new skills and new types of weapons. Similarly to the previous entries in the series, Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth features high quality two-dimensional graphics. However, the three-dimensional tactical sequences of the game feature simplified character and environment models. The lack of details is compensated with unique style and animations.

2D retro shooter and spin-off to the Door Kickers series. Door Kickers: Action Squad has you play as a member of an elite anti-terrorist squad. You take part in a series of missions, which usually require you to infiltrate a building and save hostages. This, however, is not easy, as your character can die at the hands of all sorts of criminals: sprinters armed with knives, terrorists wearing bomb vests, or mobsters armed to the teeth. On the other hand, you can command one of several character classes, including an operator with a shield, or a breacher armed either with a shotgun or a submachine gun. It is also worth to use police tactics, such as breaching through windows and skylights, or classically, by kicking down doors. At any moment you can also invite a friend to play with you, as the game offers both local and online co-op mode. Door Kickers: Action Squad uses old-school stylistics, combined with modern light effects.

Panzer League is a MOBA developed by German studio CipSoft. In this title the players are participating in multiplayer panzer battles by using futuristic tanks. The matches are played between two four-person teams. The players can choose from a large variety of machines, each of which features different statistics and special traits. During the game the player is slowly improving his unit by upgrading its statistics and by unlocking better functions. The controls and aiming are action-focused and the battles are very fast-paced. There are bases of both sides on the map – destroying opponent’s command center is one of the ways for achieving victory. Another way is to take over all control points. There are radar stations on the battlefields, conquering them enables the player to check enemy movement. There are research structures as well - they enable the player to upgrade their tank faster.

A 2D action-adventure game with pixel-art visuals, inspired by a subgenre known as metroidvania. Developed by the American Aloft Studio, Hazelnut Bastille is an attempt to recreate the best features of 2D games released in the 90s for SNES. The creators brought both an adequate visual style and a fitting soundtrack, but they also limited the aspect ratio to 4:3 for example. The story revolves around adventures of a young woman who searches for a treasure she lost, and tries to discover the secrets left by the mysterious Ancients in this foreign land at the world's end. The path of the protagonist leads through countless chambers of old dungeons and mazes where traps and puzzles are waiting for the player in large numbers - those were constructed by the Ancients themselves. The locations are also filled with unfriendly creatures, such as fire-breathing frogs, levitating jellyfish making use of electric power, or huge, armored worms. From time to time, the player encounters powerful bosses with special kinds of attacks and unique weak spots. In combat, the player uses mainly a dagger known as Dawnthorn, which can also revive beings. Apart from that, one will be using a crossbow that can launch multiple bolts simultaneously, as well as bombs with timers. Additionally, a special device allows the player to place energy barriers - those can prevent objects from moving, redirect light and conduct electricity. The barriers are useful both while solving puzzles and fighting, as they can serve the role of a temporary cover.

The main aspect that makes the game different from other fighter games is its main theme. In the game, the player gets to control not regular heroes but gods. This includes e.g. Jesus Christ, Buddha, Zeus, and Odin. The game delivers several modes, one of which is the tutorial allowing the player to familiarize themselves with the abilities features by the character they have chosen. Moreover, one can fight the AI-controlled opponents in the single player mode and face other players in the local multiplayer mode.

An essential part of gameplay is combat – on the battlefield you get to use both firearms and self-made traps, as well as other deadly gadgets against your enemies. Alternatively, you are free to put down your guns and use a stealthy approach. Apart from enemy infantry, from time to time you must fight the so-called Wanzers, i.e. powerful mechs, iconic for the Front Mission series – interestingly, there are several occasions in the game, in which you can control one of those and strike fear in your opponents’ hearts. Other strengths of the game are high quality of graphics and atmospheric soundtrack.

On their adventure, the player gets to travel to a fantasy land of Clouders, located on the other side of the rainbow. The gameplay formula does not deviate much from the one featured in other HOPA games and requires the player to visit consecutive locations and look for hidden objects. The game is relatively easy; however, in case of any difficulties, one can use the hint system. Another aspect, which diversifies the experience is the set of various logic puzzles. Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends delivers high-quality visuals.

The player takes part in tactical battles set in a three-dimensional environment. Furthermore, the player recruits officers, conducts political actions within the Cyrannus planetary system, but also expands their fleet alongside progression, based on the unlocked spaceship designs. Apart from the single-player component, the game offers a complex multiplayer mode which allows the player to fight 1v1 duels against commanders from all over the world. All of this is complemented by decent-quality visuals.

Even though the Santa Blanca cartel has been busted, the Unidad de Operaciones Especiales are still unable to establish peace in Bolivia. All that trouble can be attributed to the Los Extranjeros organization, members of which will not stop until they kill every U.S. citizen remaining in Bolivia. The Ghost team is dispatched to the war zone, however, their chopper is shot down and they have to crash-land in the middle of a jungle filled with enemies. Like the base game, the Fallen Ghosts expansion builds on the cooperative gameplay mechanics and comes with a completely new and complex story campaign offering 15 missions at players’ disposal. Throughout these missions, the players have to eliminate four crime lords and face new types of adversaries. All of that comes with previously inaccessible weapons and new skills available for the Ghost operatives.

In the console version of Pro Cycling Manager, the players assume the role of a chosen cyclist who belongs to one of 22 official clubs. Our goal is, of course, achieve as many successes as possible which is no small task since we have to face other world-famous teams. Compared to their predecessors, both versions of the game boast improved artificial intelligence and physics. Moreover, apart from an extensive career mode, they offer multiplayer modules that allow us to compete against and cooperate with other players from all over the world.

In Hearthlands we play as a ruler of a small kingdom who basically owns only the lands around their castle. Our goal is to develop our fief and make sure that our people are safe and live in prosperity. In order to do that we construct new buildings, make sure that goods are distributed properly, and research new technologies. Freedom that the gameplay offers is this game's strong point. It allows us to turn our city into a true stronghold, a trading metropolis or a small town, whose main source of income is fishing. If we can't have good relations with our neighbors, we need to have a strong army which can consist of our citizen or, what is typical for this genre, heroes. However, in order to craft equipment we need to have a sufficient amount of resources.

His life is constantly threatened by terrifying demons, wraiths, and monsters against which the journalist is completely powerless - his only choice is to avoid the danger or flee when attacked. When exploring the nightmarish place, he also has to solve more or less complex environmental puzzles. The grim atmosphere is escalated by numerous occult symbols and altars set up for disturbing rituals. The Conjuring House features high-quality visuals powered by the Unreal Engine 4 technology.

A survival sandbox game, in which the player assumes the role of an astronaut, who is trying to stay alive on a desolate planet. Developed by Craneballs, Planet Nomads offers the player with a procedurally-generated open world. One has to tend to his character’s basic needs - this means satisfying both hunger and thirst, as well as taking care of his general health condition. The main protagonist can fall ill, get a concussion, and break a limb, so one has to take notice of the threats posed by the environment, in the form of the planet’s fauna and flora. Additionally, one has to avoid poisonous gases, extreme temperatures, and radioactive radiation. In comparison to other games from the survival genre, Planet Nomads stands out in terms of its gameplay mechanics, allowing the players to erect structures using over a hundred different segments; this is also how one can create a vehicle to explore the planet more easily, and a spaceship to set off to a space voyage. All of this, however, requires resources - in order to find them, a player has to venture beyond the safe areas and scavenge the planet’s recesses that are much more dangerous. As the game progresses, one gains access to certain gear improvements - the multi-tool used for gathering resources, the protective space suit, and the jetpack. The game offers an additional treat in the form of the ability to destroy elements of the environment, composed of voxels. Planet Nomads offers support for mods.

The second entry in the popular series of puzzle games developed by an independent studio ustwo. The title features a completely new plot, in which the player learns about the fate of a mother who travels with her child through a fantasy world. The gameplay mechanics are based on the ones employed in the first entry in the series – the player is tasked with guiding both characters from one place to another, frequently by manipulating the environment, playing with perspective or by creating optical illusions. It is worth mentioning that the presence of two characters makes solving riddles in Monument Valley 2 slightly different than previously. Despite that, the users that played the previous game should feel familiar in the new entry. The title features high-quality graphics inspired by the works of M.C. Escher.

An action RPG with roguelike traits, developed by independent studio One Bit Beyond. The game tells the story of brave characters trying to defeat the evil Mormo. Because the enemy has an army of beasts under his command, many heroes will fall before someone achieves the goal. The action in The Swords of Ditto is presented from an isometric perspective and the gameplay focuses on exploration and combat with encountered enemies. Although the gameplay is action-based, the combat system mostly rewards having proper equipment – in additional to traditional weapons, during the game the player can use more extraordinary items like a magic golf club. The combat potential of the character can be also increased with stickers that provide additional bonuses. It is worth mentioning that dying in the game is permanent and the legacy left by fallen heroes, like their equipment, can make the next attempt a bit easier. The game can be played alone or with another player in a local cooperation mode.

The oldest games that are included in this collection come with improved graphics. In comparison to the original, Baja: Edge of Control HD features a number of changes and upgrades, the most prominent being the improved visuals (the HD edition features a higher resolution, some new textures, more detailed surroundings, and dynamic lighting), facilitations at the initial stages of the game, as well as remodeled controls and interface. The core of the game, however, remains unchanged – in Baja: Edge of Control HD players get to participate in thrilling off-road races while driving one of the dozens of available vehicles: 4x4 cars, cross-country vehicles, racing trucks, and many more. What is worth mentioning, the vehicles have not only been modified in terms of their performance and appearance but also can now be damaged. The vehicle handling model now promises a more simulation-focused approach than the arcade-based model from the original game. Apart from the single player mode, Baja: Edge of Control HD delivers a multiplayer mode, in which the players can race each other online or on a split screen.

A simplistic RTS game focusing on quick multiplayer duels and employing free-to-play business model. Battle Islands: Commanders was created by the experienced DR Studios, and the game extends the formula of 2013's Battle Islands. The game simplifies the traditional RTS mechanics, but supplementing them with elements borrowed from card games and tower defense titles. Each duel is fought using the cards one has in their deck, which can be modified to one's liking. New cards can be found in chests received for victories. Cards of the same kind can be combined together to improve the firepower and durability of one's tanks and other units. Contrary to the classic RTS games, the player cannot control particular units manually - the player only chooses when and where to place a unit and the rest is done automatically, as the subordinates simply join the battle. Placing various units on the battlefield should be done with caution however, as sending a tank to a zone where the enemy has already placed a soldier with a rocket launcher will have catastrophic consequences.

Katana ZERO takes place in a city full of contrast, during the eighties’ of twenty century. Next to rich districts there are slums with night clubs that attract shady people. The player controls a ninja warrior who wants to have his revenge. The action is presented from a side perspective and the gameplay focuses on traveling through locations and fighting encountered enemies. The protagonist can use various moves. The key to victory lies in agility and reflexes. A special drug called Chronos is helpful at some points of the game – it enables the protagonist to slow time. The title has high difficulty level – a single shot or hit can kill the protagonist.
