The title features story mode, in which the player faces artificial intelligence and multiplayer mode which enables the player to face other players via Internet and to participate in faction wars. A rail shooter game developed by the independent Italian developer Antab Studio. GRIDD: Retroenhanced draws its inspirations from both cyberpunk and hacker culture of the 1980s. The player gets to assume the role of an operator of a battle ship that traverses the virtual reality with a task to bypass a computer defense system and defeat a dangerous Artificial Intelligence. During the game, one gets to sweep through procedurally generated maps and fight numerous enemies. As the vehicle is constantly moving forward, the player's role is limited to maneuvering up and down, dodging enemies, collecting power-ups, and targeting weak spots of particular adversaries. The basic mode in GRIDD: Retroenhanced is the Arcade Mode, in which the difficulty level continuously adjusts to player's skills. The game also features the Endless Mode, in which the player has to face unlimited enemy waves. One's actions are monitored by the scoring system, thus the player can share his achievements via the online ranking boards. The entire experience features original style somewhat resembling the iconic TRON: Legacy movie and is well complemented by a dedicated synth wave soundtrack.

The game described herein resembles the Dark Souls series in many ways, however, in Immortal: Unchained the players use firearms instead of melee weapons in combat. One assumes the role of a being called the 'living weapon', released from the eternal prison, as it is the only one capable of stopping the cataclysm at hand. The gameplay is very demanding - when exploring the fantastical world the player's character is bound to die very often, and it is up to the player to draw conclusions from each death. A system known from the game developed by From Software introduces a facilitation into the game - after death, the player loses all their items, however, they can reclaim them by reaching the place of their death. On their adventure, the player gets to visit multiple locations connected with a network called Stream. The game is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC Windows.

A top-down shooter developed by Finnish studio 10tons. The title features time control mechanics. The story presented in Time Recoil starts in 1987, where the main protagonist lands due to a time paradox. During the game she must complete a series of missions in the past. This will enable her to change the timeline, save no-longer living allies, obtain lost documents and eliminate important persons before they become a threat. The final objective is to kill Mr. Time who controls a time-based weapon of mass destruction. The female protagonist can move and aim in all directions. When an enemy is killed, the time slows down. The longer the killing chain, the longer this “bullet time” is active. This mechanics introduce a more puzzle approach to shootouts – the player is trying to combine kills in order to finish their actions before the enemies understand what is going on.

The action in the game is shown from a side perspective and the gameplay focuses on traveling through various locations, completing story and side missions and participating in real-time battles. Among the opponents there are ones that are many times the size of the protagonists. The key to success lies in taking advantage of the unique skills of selected character. The game can be played alone, but it was designed with cooperation mode for up to four players in mind. The title features graphics that resemble 16-bit genre classics.

The game’s main protagonist is detective Cole Phelps, a World War II veteran, gradually climbing the steps of a career in the police force. In time, he is assigned more and more difficult cases – from road offenses to murders and drug trafficking. L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files offers the same seven large cases known from the original game, but it introduces a slew of changes to gameplay mechanics. Gameplay is still based on obtaining material evidence, careful examination of objects related to the case, and interrogating suspects – all this is to help find the culprit and close the case in the right way. However, instead of the TPP view, used in the original L.A. Noire, the VR version uses first-person perspective.

Chess Ultra allows us to compete against other players or AI that offers ten difficulty levels, which determine how many moves can the computer read in advance and the probability of it making a mistake. The action is observed from the first-person perspective. We can learn both the basics and advanced strategies in the tutorial. In total, the developers prepared eighty chess challenges (e.g. winning a game within seven turns). The multiplayer lets us play locally or engage in ranked online matches. Chess Ultra also allows the players to organize their own tournaments and search for game partners of the same skill level. The developers created four game rooms. Moreover, we can change the appearance of the board and chess figures by choosing from tens of available models. The production supports 4K resolution.

Creeping Terror is a 2D survival horror where we play as Arisa, a Japanese high school student, who, together with her friends, ends up in a haunted mansion in order to verify the stories told about it. After entering the residence, the entire group passes out and later wakes up in a sinister cave. Our job is to find a way out and survive. Action in Creeping Terror is presented from a side-scrolling perspective. Gameplay focuses on exploration of grim locations (underground tunnels and the residence itself) and solving more or less complicated riddles. In addition to that, Arisa has to hide from many nightmarish creatures (she can only fight with them on special occasions) and, if needed, simply run away. The 3DS version of the game has quite good visuals, but the same cannot be said about its PC release. Nonetheless, the game’s grim atmosphere can be quite enjoyable thanks to the toned-down colors and ominous soundtrack.

The Sun is a post-apocalyptic game by Ukrainian studio EGProject, blending RPG mechanics with FPS elements. The story takes place several hundred years in the future, on Earth, which has been destroyed by disastrous beams of solar energy and radiation. You play as person raised by former shelter dwellers, who decided to rebuild the human civilization. The game utilizes the first person's view and features an open world. You explore locations, talk to NPCs, gather items, and complete quests, including long, main ones and many shorter, optional tasks. The combat mechanics strongly resemble that of FPS games, but they are also affected by your stats, which can be leveled up using experience points. The exploration of the desert is made more interesting by the presence of mutants and anomalies, which are not bound by the laws of physics.

Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator tells the story of a lonely father, who along with his daughter, moves to a sleepy town Maple Bay. Soon after their arrival, it turns out that all the males in the neighborhood have lived lives similar to that of the protagonist - he decides to arrange a date with one of them. This is when the player enters the stage and further developments in the story depend entirely on them. Assuming the role of the father, the player has to take care of his daughter Amanda and leads the protagonist through his romantic journey. The experience focuses on trying to inspire romantic feelings towards the protagonist in one of seven males differing in their appearances and personalities. The player talks to them, completes different quests and takes part in various mini-games. The game relies on the visual novel formula.
