A tactical real-time strategy game inspired by the Commandos series. Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is set in Japan in 1615. The new shogun decided to enforce peace in the entire country which requires him to silently eliminate all the opposition that may dream of rebelling against him. To achieve this, he asks a group of five specialists who deal in murder, sabotage, and espionage. It is the team that the player will lead in the course of the campaign that consists of over a dozen extensive missions. In Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, the action is presented from a camera placed high above the characters’ heads which provides us with a good grasp of the environment and lets us efficiently issue orders to our agents. Since they perform risky tasks on enemy territory, it is necessary to stay out of guards’ sight and act stealthily. Maps were designed in a way that allows for any mission to be completed in various ways. To succeed, the player always has to cunningly use the unique skills of every character and devise plans that involve strict cooperation within the party.

Gameplay in Titanfall 2 consists of controlling futuristic soldiers who can climb buildings, double-jump, and call in powerful war machines from orbit. The game follows the path of its first part, yet the developers decided to introduce some new gadgets and mechanics elements that made gameplay more appealing. The game features six new Titans, each having unique abilities.

A futuristic sports game created by Psyonix Studios. This is a sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars released in 2008 on PS3. The game features an extraordinary version of soccer, in which players drive uniquely customized rocket-powered cars, trying to get the ball into the opponent’s goal. Cars possess an array of special powers, which can be modified as you progress with over a hundred different gadgets. Matches are played on special cage-shaped arenas with power-ups scattered across them. The game lets you play through a full league season against AI, the pinnacle however, is the multiplayer, both online and local. As compared with the previous game, this one has noticeably better graphics and improved physics engine.

The game’s sandbox mechanics and its open-world structure give much freedom of gameplay, whose biggest challenges are survival and making difficult moral choices. The game features a compelling narrative written by Marianne Krawczyk, the author of scripts for such titles as God of War and L.A. Noire. The game’s unique character is emphasized by its unusual graphics, designed by Hokyo Lima (known for League of Legends).

WildStar is an MMORPG set in a fantasy universe, blending elements of fantasy and science-fiction. WildStar is the debut production of an American studio called Carbine. The game was published by NCsoft (Guild Wars, Lineage). The events take place on a distant planet - Nexus, where the members of three different races - humans, aurins and granoks, are trying to solve a mystery of disappearance of the first inhabitants of the planet - the eldans. In contrast to other such games, here, the gameplay model stands out, since it allows a lot of freedom in play style and character development. Innovations also reached the combat mechanics, which enable, for example, dodging. The game has quite simple, yet pleasant 3D graphics in cartoonish stylistics.

The squad, consisting of soldiers notorious for behavior considered inadequate for military service, gets assigned with missions nobody else is willing to take. Apart from the singleplayer mode, the game offers fully functional multiplayer component. The latter allows for online battles involving up to 24 players.

As befits a tycoon game, the player is tasked with creating and exhibiting new species, as well as taking care of the entire park’s infrastructure, visitors’ security, and a number of additional attractions. The main aspect of Jurassic World: Evolution is economy – all actions taken by the player have to be aimed at the constant development of the park and increasing the venture’s profitability.

The Brotherhood is made up of over forty characters, featuring both famous characters from the Assassin’s Creed video games and the movie as well as twenty completely new individuals. The fortress under your command is the main base of operations for your men, from which they set out for missions in teams of up to three members. As you accumulate experience and gain higher character levels, you are able to expand the fortress with new rooms and purchase equipment. On the other hand, while performing specific tasks (which require heroes with specific abilities), you gain DNA fragments (unlocking more Assassins), raw materials (for improving existing units), and crafting materials (needed to create better equipment). Against a background of other Assassin's Creed games, Rebellion is distinguished by its graphics design, based on Chibi stylistics.

A survival sandbox, in which the player assumes the role of a dinosaur. The Isle Development Team enabled the player to control creatures like Austroraptor, Carnotaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Gallimimus, Utahraptor, Acrocanthosaurus and Allosaurus. The main and only objective of the game is to survive on an island the size of more than a dozen of square kilometers. Depending on the selected creature, the player must hunt for smaller dinosaurs, hide in bushes from predators etc. In addition to getting food, one must also remember to drink water that might not be easy to find. During the game the player can join other users on the server, create herds and set up ambushes for other beasts. It is also possible to create nests and raise offspring – player’s friends can assume their role. The Isle features high quality three-dimensional graphics. The dinosaurs are well recreated and the island features varied areas.

The action takes place on the moon of Pandora, and the players assume the roles of characters working for Hyperion - a corporation belonging to Handsome Jack. Similar to the previous installments, the game offers four playable characters, including Athena the Gladiator, Wilhelm the Enforcer, Nisha the Lawbringer and Fragtrap. Each character represents a different class and has unique skills. The creators once again delivered an extensive co-op mode for up to four players. Also, the visuals retain the characteristic resemblance to comic books. What has changed since the release of the previous installment however, are the in-game physics, including reduced gravity.

It has been created by the dev team at The Chinese Room and supervised by Frictional Games studio (creators of the original Amnesia: The Dark Descent). The Story of Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs focuses on the eponymous device; set in 1899, it puts players in the role of Oswald Mandus, a businessman who fell in a coma for a few months and lost his memories due to mysterious illness. When he wakes up, he discovers that the rest of occupants had disappeared, and a strange machine noise can be heard from below. We experience the game from an FPP view, which creates a feeling of true fear in conjunction with engrossing story and climatic audiovisuals.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas is a science fiction action game developed by Ubisoft. The game takes place in a distant future in the titular Atlas planetary system, a place full of breathtaking alien worlds. This part of the galaxy is on the brink of destruction due to the invasion of the machines known as the Forgotten Legion. Our job is to stop the machines and defeat their leader, Grax. Starlink: Battle for Atlas is an action game where we control our own, self-made space ship. We use it to fight not only in space, but also in the atmosphere of many planets. The game’s world is open and dynamic, and changes under the influence of ours and our antagonists' decisions. What makes Starlink: Battle for Atlas a unique game is the fact that it is integrated with spaceship minifigures that are sold separately. Those minifigures are modular, which allows us to manually change their parts and pilots. These changes are instantly taken to the virtual world.

Phantom Doctrine is an espionage strategy game developed by the Polish developer CreativeForge Games. The action of the game is set in the 1980 and depicts an alternative version of the Cold War. The player spearheads a secret intelligence agency with the objective to stop a global plot to take control of the entire world. One has to recruit new agents, train and equip them, and provide them with false identities. It is necessary to complete reconnaissance missions, trade information, interrogate prisoners, and manage the operational budget. The missions themselves play an essential role in the game - during a mission, the player has to lead a team comprising of over a dozen agents. Each mission is turn-based. In the game, the player can mount frontal attacks with heavy weaponry as well as assume a more covert approach to complete the objectives. The game has been designed to allow high replayability. The situation in the virtual world tends to change rapidly and many elements are randomly generated. The players get three characters at their disposal - each one with a unique story, which significantly affects the gameplay.

Another installment in the bestselling Medal of Honor series. This entry is a reboot of the saga, and for the first time in history it takes place in modern times. The game was created by Danger Close studio in cooperation with EA Dice. The former created the single player mode, the latter developed multiplayer mode. In the game the player assumes the roles of two members of elite American forces, Tier 1 and US Rangers. Both teams support each other during the missions. The game takes place mostly in Afghanistan. The main protagonists are trying to neutralize the increasing threat of terrorism. Most of the missions were created based on actual military operations that took place in the region. What’s interesting, the game runs on two different graphic engines. The single player mode was created on an improved but slightly outdated Unreal Engine 3, while the multiplayer mode uses the Frostbite engine, which was used, for example, in Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

This time, Privates Preston Marlowe, Terrence Sweetwater, Corporal George Haggard, and Staff Sergeant Samuel Redford are trying to obtain information on a secret scalar weapon capable of deciding the victor in the war between the United States and Russia. The gameplay here is based on spectacular, first-person shooting sequences, during which the player makes use of various weapons and vehicles. Also, the game offers an extensive multiplayer mode featuring a system of ranks and bonuses.

Power of Chaos: Yugi the Destiny was designed to be as faithful as possible to the rules and other aspects of the real game, so the battles fought in-game actually do not differ from those fought in the real world. The advanced artificial intelligence makes our enemies react adequately to our moves as well as take initiative when possible.

This game was developed by The Odd Gentlemen (known for The Adventures of P.B. Winterbottom), while the development process was supervised by the original creators of the franchise from the reactivated Sierra Studios. The game’s story is built around a series of flashbacks. The player assumes the role of the old king Graham, who tells his granddaughter, Gwendolyn, of the fantastic adventures from his youth, which eventually led him to the throne of Daventry. Despite employing 3D graphics, the game mechanics takes after the classic installments in the series, focusing on exploration, dialogues, and puzzle solving. The game also features platform sequences, in which the hero has to jump over chasms and avoid various traps.
