A typical point-and-click adventure game and a continuation to 2012's Yesterday. Yesterday Origins was developed by the creators of the original game - the Spanish Pendulo Studios. Again, the player takes on the role of John Yesterday; as for the plot, it was divided into two timelines. Thus the player, familiar with present-day events, is taken back to the era of the Spanish Inquisition. In terms of game mechanics, the game follows the pattern of its predecessor. The player explores the in-game locations, talks to NPCs, gathers items and solves various puzzles for the most part. Contrary to the first installment however, Yesterday Origins is a fully 3D title, though the creators have once again managed to convey the characteristic atmosphere of the original game through application of the specific, cartoonish art style.

The fourth installment of the bestselling turn-based strategy games series launched back in 1991 by the gaming industry legend, Sid Meier. Once again, the player assumes control over a nation of his choosing and leads it through subsequent millennia to total domination over a randomly generated world. Compared to the previous installments in the series, the fourth entry has a different system of state management and features expanded diplomatic options; furthermore, an emphasis was put on such factors as culture and religion. The game also offers new units, nations (18 in total), buildings, inventions, and resources to be traded. Thanks to the 3D graphics engine, the map is full of animated objects and can be freely zoomed and rotated.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Uprising is a Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 expansion, released by Electronic Arts in 2008. It expands the plot with new threads, taking place after the events of the core game. During the three campaigns, the player can support the retreating Soviets, help the Empire of the Rising Sun to regain its former glory, or tackle the corruption ravaging the ranks of the Allies. The fourth mini-campaign tells the tale of one of the Empire's leaders – Yuriko. The developers didn't forget about the implementation of new, previously unknown units, a fresh bunch of FMV cut-scenes with live actors, as well as many more minute upgrades of the mechanics. The game mode list is complimented by the challenge mode known from C&C Generals: Zero Hour. During the fifty missions of increasing difficulty, the player fights against nine AI-controlled leaders.

A complex remake of the first installment in the Yakuza series. The original title debuted on PlayStation 2 in 2005. The game takes place in 1995, eight years after the events shown in Yakuza 0. Kazuma Kiryu, the main protagonist, is a high ranked member of the criminal clan Tojo. He takes the blame for the murder of the patriarch of Dojima family, who was responsible for kidnapping his friend Yumi. After ten years the protagonist is released from prison. His task is to find Yumi and restore order in Tojo clan, which is at the brink of a civil war. The action in Yakuza Kiwami is shown from a third-person perspective. The player can visit many smaller locations that depict the streets of Tokyo. The gameplay consists of exploration, completing story quests and side missions, and fighting enemies by using four different combat styles. The game contains various minigames and side activities. Goro Majima’s challenges are a novelty introduced in the remake. In addition to refreshing the graphics, the developers re-recorded all dialogues and created new cutscenes.

Technically, Battlefield 3 is powered by Frostbite 2 engine, featuring high quality audiovisuals and realistic physics.

The third entry in the ground-breaking real-time strategy game series, this time calling back to the very first game from 1995. The game itself, however, takes us to the beginning of 21st century and once again puts us in charge of the weakened Nod Brotherhood or GDI alliance that tries to maintain the world peace under the command of General Salomon. Despite what we could have thought, the charismatic leader of Nod did not die under the ruins of his temple and is quick to begin a new conflict, which can change the world forever. Gameplay of Tiberian Sun doesn’t differ much from the original, though the creators from Westood studio made sure to implement some changes and novelties. Each faction has new buildings and units that force us to develop new tactics. There also additions like new, three-dimensional game engine, improved cutscenes with well-known actors (including James Earl Jones and Michael Biehn) and enhanced multiplayer for up to 8 players.

During the game, the player assumes the role of a manager of an amusement park, in which visitors can witness the dinosaurs brought back to life. As befits a tycoon game, the player is tasked with creating and exhibiting new species, as well as taking care of the entire park’s infrastructure, visitors’ security, and a number of additional attractions. The main aspect of Jurassic World: Evolution is economy – all actions taken by the player have to be aimed at the constant development of the park and increasing the venture’s profitability.

Another spin-off to the legendary series of sandbox action games, developed by Rockstar Games for the PlayStation Portable console. As the title of the game suggests, its action is related to GTA: Vice City. The title takes place in 1984, two years before the events shown in the other game. The main protagonist is Victor Vance – an ex-soldier who currently works for various gangsters. By completing various jobs given to him by mafia bosses he slowly rises through the ranks of the criminal underworld. The gameplay isn’t very different from other installments of the series. However the developers added many new features such as the ability to swim, fly a helicopter or enter buildings. This made the game mechanics even more similar to the mechanics of full-fledged installments in the series. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories offers a large number of weapons and gadgets as well as a varied soundtrack that accompanies the player while driving cars.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II features slightly altered mechanics with balance equally distributed between combat, tactics, and puzzle solving. The main hero has also gained new abilities (e.g. Mind Trick or Force Fury), and the game features more demanding opponents, some of which are resistant to certain attacks, thus forcing you to use different tactics. Apart from ordinary “walking” levels the game includes sequences in which you fight as a TIE Fighter pilot or moments when you are falling down while fighting and avoiding obstacles.

A combination of adventure and arcade games, created by an independent developer known as Infinite Ammo. The player assumes the role of Mae - a cat with paranormal abilities. The protagonist quits her studies and returns to her hometown - Possum Springs, in order to have some quality time with her old friends. The place has fallen into decline since the last mine in town was closed, because the inhabitants have been left without work. What is worse however, is that a neighboring forest has apparently kept some dark secret concealed. The plot serves the role of an parallel to human existence, with themes such as death, transience of all things or longing for certain moments from the past elaborated on throughout the story. The player is required to explore (by jumping across platforms mostly) a unique in-game environment, solve simple puzzles connected to it, talk to NPCs, as well as engage in joyful activities, such as playing the guitar or having fun with the in-game friends. What distinguishes Night in the Woods from other titles, are its visuals based on an original art style - those were crafted by Scott Benson. The unique soundtrack on the other hand, was created by Alec Holowka.

Players become members of a gang that specializes in bank heists, kidnapping, and drugs transportation. The main campaign consists of six dangerous jobs, offered via the CRIMENET system. The creators of PayDay 2 took special care to diversify the missions – as some mission elements are random, no two playthroughs are exactly the same. Just as in the first game, gameplay puts emphasis on the cooperation of up to four players. The game's impressive visuals are powered by Diesel Engine 2.0.

During the game player becomes Tony Cipriani who after coming to the city is caught up in the dirt of corruption, mafia wars, and drug traffic. The objective of the game is to work for the Leone mafia family, increase its influences and build up Tony’s reputation in the criminal underworld. The gameplay of GTA: Liberty City Stories employs the well-received mechanics of the series and offers an open world filled with story missions and side activities alike. As always in the series, there are many vehicles (including motorcycles, motorboats, trains and ferries) and weapons to use. However, due to the limitations of the PSP console, some things were slightly simplified.

An action adventure game which is a remake of the 1989's Prince of Persia, one of the most popular platformers of all time, originally developed Broberbund Software. The game was created by Ubisoft Motreal and Jordan Mechner – the father of the original game, who worked on The Sands of Time as consultant and lead designer. The game tells a story of the eponymous Prince who accidentally releases the legendary Sands of Time, a mystical artifact that poses a terrible threat to the world. With the help of the beautiful princess Farah, the protagonist has to make up for his mistake and bring back order to his land by facing various creatures and dangers. Gameplay of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is seen from the third-person perspective and features fully 3D graphics. During the course of the game, the hero makes use of the supernatural power to control the time. The creators emphasize their effort to recreate the characteristic elements of the original title, like realistic animations and combat system.

A characteristic feature of the game is the return to the classic improvements located on the route, which modify the behavior of cars. The second standalone expansion to the popular war RTS from Relic Entertainment, released in Poland under the name Kompania Braci. Along with the expansion we get three more campaigns set in key moments of World War II: Causeway, Battle of Falaise and Ace of Tigers. The most noteworthy campaign is the one in which we take control over a single German tank with its four-man crew and a group of infantry covering it. Each of the tankers has a slightly different role, and the gameplay is a bit like a hybrid of strategy and RPG.
