On one hand, the game tells a story of the brave warrior Pankapu - as told by a father reading this story to his child, Jaha'rell. On the other hand, the player gets acquainted with a dark story of Jaha'rell, though in this case, the player does not have any direct influence on the course of events. In terms of the mechanics, the game is a classic action-platformer, requiring the player to explore subsequent locations, avoid various traps and fight nightmares. The protagonist's main weapon is a sword, but Pankapu can also transform, gaining access to unique attacks.

Gravitation isn't always the same here, which means that we can walk not only on ground but also on walls and ceilings. Another expansion to the blockbuster digital card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft by the Blizzard company. The add-on One Night in Karazhan introduces new adventure, in which we are invited to a great party organized by wizard Medivh in the titular tower. We meet various prominent people, like the majordomo Moroes, against whom obviously we can duel. All of this to find the host who has mysteriously vanished at the beginning of the party. Expansion does not offer any ground-shaking novelties, with the biggest one being introduction of a pack of 45 completely new cards. It also presents players with previously unseen board of Karazhan tower and enhances gameplay with portals, which warp time and space to allow for summoning of random minions. Finally, there are more class-specific challenges that enable us to acquire special cards.

The 12th expansion for 2012’s grand strategy game by Paradox Interactive, Crusader Kings II. In The Reaper’s Due, the developers focused on historical epidemics such as the Black Death which was the plague that gathered a bloody harvest in 13th century Europe. Therefore, the add-on introduces several new mechanics. The most important ones are obviously diseases that spread throughout the map of the continent. They have a negative influence on, among other things, our army’s numbers as well as finances. The latter can be replenished by forcing large dividends on prosperous provinces that pay us in gold and workforce. We can protect our people from diseases, though, thanks to hospitals and doctors who have access to the latest medical knowledge but their presence not always can prevent an epidemic. Apart from the aforementioned novelties, the gameplay is traditionally enriched by new event chains.

Trials on Tatooine is set in the universe of Star Wars. It's a free, experimental action game developed with Virtual Reality sets in mind. It was created by ILMxLAB, which consists of some members of the legendary studio, Industrial Light & Magic, which worked on CGI for over three hundred movies. The story of the game is set in between the 6th and 7th episode of the Star Wars saga. The protagonist is a Padawan of Luke Skywalker, whose task is to help Luke in restoring the Jedi Order. Trials of Tatooine can't really be called a full-fledged action game - it was developed simply to exhibit the capabilities of VR sets. The player's goals in the game are simple; it can be repairing the Millenium Falcon, or deflecting projectiles with a Lightsaber. Apart from action sequences, the game also shows some old and well-known characters such as R2D2, 3CPO, or Boba Fett.

Strategy, MMO, MOBA, PvP, Free-to-play.

Crush Online is an MMO developed by Korean studio JoyImpact. The game is focused on dynamic PvP duels, evoking games such as League of Legends or Dota 2. Crush Online is set in a fantastic world of Gaia, inhabited by three factions fighting for influence. At the beginning of the game, players choose one of these and create their avatar, which will then be developed throughout the game. The recipe of the duels is similar to most popular MOBA games; some NPCs help the player during battles as they divert enemies from attacking player’s defense towers. A curious addition to the gameplay is the fact that the gameworld exists permanently, in the sense that – contrary to other games – it constantly changes even after a match ends. As in any respectable MMO, here we can join guilds, forge alliances and take part in battles for control over a given territory. The award for this are different kinds of loot and powerful character upgrades.
