The first expansion to The Lord of The Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar developed by Turbine Entertainment. Another expansion pack to the 1999 MMORPG EverQuest. The expansion pack was developed by Daybreak Game Company, a team that takes care of the franchise. The add-on takes place under the surface of Norrath. According to the legends, an ancient artifact that provides its owner with supernatural abilities is hidden there. There are forty locations waiting to be explored in EverQuest: Lost Dungeons of Norrath, including Deepest Guk, Takish-Hiz and Mistmoore Catacombs. These locations are placed in five new environments. The players gain access to dozens of new pieces of equipments, combat abilities and spells. Up to 36 users at once can now participate in combat. The new adventures are generated by a unique system implemented in the expansion and the number of gained experience points depends on the player’s progress. The list of novelties is closed with previously unavailable enemies and improved artificial intelligence.
