Action, Dragon Ball, Animated TV Series, Singleplayer, Nintendo Exclusive.
An action game created by Dimps Corporation, based on a cult-classic manga by Akira Toriyama. The players are presented with an opportunity to experience childhood adventures of Goku – the main hero of the series. The game consists of fifteen diversified levels, allowing the players to relive the greatest adventures of the young hero, meeting characters known from the series, including Bulma and Piccolo. The gameplay in Dragon Ball Z: Advanced Adventure is presented as a side-scroller, and consists of exploration of the environment, jumping between platforms, solving simple environmental puzzles, and combat with encountered enemies. While standard opponents do not stand a chance, boss encounters that await at the end of every level require using advanced battle techniques of our hero (including the trademark “Kamehameha” generated from his Ki) and employing special tactics. The game is complemented by colorful visuals, inspired by the craft of Japanese mangakas.

Another expansion for EverQuest, released four years after the launch of the vanilla game. It was developed by Daybreak Game Company which oversees the franchise’s development. The add-on was created with both beginners and veterans in mind — for the latter, the level cap was increased to 75. This time around, the story focuses on a new race of the Drakkin which are a combination of humans and dragons. They try to reach the Crescent Reach, a legendary city of their reptilian ancestors, forgetting their human roots. The expansion lets us create a new character that represents the newly implemented race — there is a wide variety of types and colors of scales and horns. The action of EverQuest: The Serpent’s Spine takes place in the aforementioned Crescent Reach, which is a self-sufficient metropolis where we can sell useless junk and purchase powerful equipment, undertake various story quests and side missions, and gain new battle skills. The expansion is powered by the technology of the original EverQuest, but the developers implemented new visual effects such as changing weather conditions.

A sequel to the unusual fighting game, Super Smash Bros., from 2001, which was one of the most popular productions released for the Nintendo GameCube console. The characteristic feature of the series is the fact that fighters are the most famous heroes from Nintendo’s games, with such characters as the plumber Mario, Link from The Legend of Zelda, pink Kirby and his eternal enemy Meta Knight, Pikachu, and even Solid Snake – main protagonist of the Metal Gear Solid series. The game stands out with a huge amount of comedy and is far from being a typical fighting game, employing many elements from platformer games. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, battles take place on multilevel arenas, and numerous gadgets can help help you in achieving victory or complementing unique attacks and special moves of each fighter. A strong point of the game is its multiplayer mode for up to 4 players, which allows you to duel with people from all around the world.
