A free tool for the owners of the PC edition of Halo 5: Guardians, acting both as map editor and a way to play fan made levels. Initially, it has been the work of the team at 343 Industries and was supposed to be a PC version of the popular Forge mode, known from the main entries in the Halo series. Additionally, the players could create their own maps or game modes, than use them in Halo 5 on consoles. Those levels can be created from scratch or by modifying sandbox maps prepared by the developers. However, the first huge update for Halo 5: Forge brought the option of testing player creations, making it a full-scale multiplayer shooter, acting as a substitute of the multiplayer mode in Halo 5, offering custom matches for up to 16 players.

A mobile free-to-play racing game, which is the first mobile project from Eden Games, a studio known from such popular series as V-Rally or Test Drive Unlimited. The game, called Gear.Club, focuses on modern car racing, taking place on special tracks, as well as city streets. The players can choose from a number of licensed vehicles from renowned car companies. We begin the game with only a few basic vehicles, but continuous winning unlocks more and more powerful, high-end machines. A garage was left at our disposal – aside from storing our vehicles, we can upgrade or tune multiple aspects of each car. Interestingly enough, the garage is interactive, forcing the player to unlock some of its functionalities. The game is characteristic for its high realism, unusual for mobile titles, while the physics engine is quite capable of recreating the cars’ handling, with separate calculations for the engine, drive, suspension, and aerodynamics.

A logic game which is a new entry in the famed Angry Birds series. This time, we are dealing with a game inspired by match-3 (tile matching) games, but some of the mechanics are a bit different from what the genre has accustomed us to. The players are facing levels of differing shape, filled with tiles and balloons whose colors correspond to the colors of the birds trapped inside. Our job is to free the required number of birds, which means puncturing the right balloons. However, we can only do so when there are two balloons of the same color right next to each other. Similarly to other titles, Angry Birds Blast forces us to think two steps ahead, a prerequisite that often proves to be invaluable when attempting to gain the desired combination. The gameplay is further complemented by a limited number of moves, as well as numerous special items that yield certain bonuses.

An MMORPG based on hack'n'slash mechanics - Guardians of Ember was developed by Runewaker Entertainment, the creators of Dragon's Prophet and Runes of Magic. The player is taken to a fantasy land which is being torn apart by the chaos of war. The players join the titular brotherhood, which seems to be the last hope the land of Olyndale has. The adventure begins once the player has created their character - one's in-game avatar represents one of the four races available, as well as two specialties chosen from six available in total. As a result, unusual combinations of character classes can be created in this game. The player develops their character gradually thanks to the in-game system, but also gathers and crafts new weapons and armors. The game world consists of 58 different locations and 60 randomly generated dungeons. Exploration combined with fighting the enemies encountered (including powerful bosses) constitutes the pillar of the gameplay. Furthermore, the game brings hundreds of story-based quests and side missions. The players complete the quests together, but they can also compete against one another in PvP battles. Interestingly, the player can be an owner of a house here (a base of operations that can be decorated to one's liking).

A multiplayer action game featuring elements of stealth, created by SIM720 - a British developer. The game focuses on two teams of players competing against each another - one team consists of agents and the other of rogues. The mechanics were based loosely on the classic hide & seek game. Rouge Operatives is played in rounds, during which the job of the agents is to track and eliminate all the rogues; the latter, on the other hand, have to remain undetected until the end of the round. What is innovative about this game however, is that although the agents are rather typical figures running around with firearms, the rogues were gifted with a unique ability to disguise themselves as different objects of the in-game environment, such as barrels, buckets, packages, shovels, rakes or ladders. This special ability allows the rogues to become one with the environment, which makes it easier to stay hidden. Additionally, both sides can make use of the various power-ups scattered throughout the maps.

You play a cat named Alex, who has to find his five siblings on a mysterious island, and find a way to travel back home. You have to complete small 2D levels by fighting enemies and avoiding various dangers. One level may take you a few minutes, but you often need more than just one try, as they are difficult to beat. Since all the cats have unique abilities, not all of the levels can be completed by playing as just one character, so you have to return to some of them after unlocking the right cat. During the game, you collect bells, which you can use to buy items and recruit allies. Super Cat Bros. features an oldchool style, based on 16-bit platform games.

The Hacker 2.0 is a sequel to the 2012 The Hacker. Both games were developed by Angry Bugs. The game takes place in a not so distant future and has a retro-futuristic feel to it, inspired by the 80’s film and book representation of cyberpunk. We play as a hacker who has to break into well-protected computer systems in order to gather top secret data and sabotage them. The game has two primary aspects of gameplay. Missions themselves are presented in the form of a turn-based tactical game. The virtual reality, around which our avatar moves, and the models of the security software intended to stop us are observed from an isometric point of view. We use various offensive, defensive, and special abilities when facing that software. We spend the time between our missions in front of a virtual desktop. The screen of our device serves as a monitor of our in-game computer with its simple operating system, icons, and useful apps. We use them to contact our clients, start missions, gather useful data, manage our income, and to invest and buy better software and hardware.

An action horror game for two players. It is a variation on a game of hide and seek. Hide and Shriek was developed by FunCom, the creators of games like The Longest Journey, The Secret World and Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. The story background of the title tells about the rivalry between two schools of magic. During the Halloween night the adepts of both schools decide to scare their rivals. The gameplay is focused on 1 on 1 matches that last ten minutes. In that time, the players have to use various magic tricks to scare the opponent. Traps, dark spells and terrifying masks are very helpful in that. What’s interesting, the player cannot see his opponent, so in order to track him he must look for clues and signs of his presence such as levitating objects or opened door. The action in Hide and Shriek is shown from a first-person perspective. The game offers graphics filled with details and suggestive sounds – not only the atmospheric music can influence player’s senses (and nerves), but screams and paranormal noises as well.

Each of them is a kind of a first-person perspective experience — completing each one takes just a few minutes and what is important: they are devoid of the characteristic elements of video games, such as an ultimate goal or the possibility of failure. The story, which is the main element of The Beginner’s Guide, is based on analysis of human psyche and cannot be unambiguously interpreted. The title is powered by the Source engine, while the gameplay is accompanied by the commentary of Davey Wreden himself, which is an integral part of the complex plot.

Fighting, Internet, Co-op, Multiplayer, Splitscreen, Singleplayer.
A 3D fighting game in the vein of Power Stone that is a debut project of the French studio Piranaking. Lastfight is based on a popular comic LASTMAN. In contrast to classic beat‘em ups in which the characters move on two-dimensional stages, Lastfight introduces small 3D arenas. This way, the player can try to get their opponent from behind, or use the elements of the environment – for example, hitting an enemy with an armchair. The combat system is clearly arcade and requires some manual skills to master the combo sequences. In all, the players can choose from a set of ten fighters. Lastfight offers three main gameplay modes: story campaign, and one-on-one or two-on-two duels. Aside from that, a few extra modes have been prepared, including Free for All, where everybody clashes with everybody, Endless, in which the objective is survival with only one health bar, and Pinball, consisting of throwing balls at our enemy. Lastfight employs a lowbrow, comic book-like visual style.

An RPG based on the cult-classic manga by Akira Toriyama. The game was developed by Ganbraion, with Konami acting as the distributor. We assume the role of a boy named Tekka, who along with his friend Pinich participate in a tournament requiring the participation of five-man teams. The title includes most of the characters from the animated series. Additionally, we can create our own fighter. The biggest highlight of Dragon Ball: Fusions is the titular fusion of several characters into one powerful fighter, with the game introducing a gigantic number of less or more probable fusions.

RPG, 2D, Dungeon Crawler, Fantasy, Indie Games, Internet, Multiplayer, Singleplayer, Turn-based.
An RPG from the dungeon crawler genre, developed by the independent studio Goblinz. Players are taken to fantasy world filled with dungeons to explore, treasures to find and monsters to defeat. At the same time, Dungeon Rusher offers a humorous approach to classic heroic fantasy tropes. We lead a party of adventurers, who must defeat a lord of darkness, dwelling in the deepest dungeon. Our team will consist of a shaman, an archeress, a warlike dwarf and a bard. Gameplay comes down to exploring and fighting enemies as we travel through two-dimensional map. When we meet hostile creatures, we are taken on the battlefield and engage in turn-based combat, which requires proper positioning of our fighters and wise use of their abilities. We also find many items, including weaponry, and there are crafting and trading systems. Aside from single player campaign, Dungeon Rushers offers a multiplayer mode to fight against other players.

What's more, the game features social aspects allowing to establish one's own town which can be afterwards inhabited by other players who will collectively work on making it a better place. Adventure, Indie Games, Point-and-click, Action Adventure, Singleplayer.
A mix of a point-and-click adventure and action game developed by independent German studio Animation Arts. During the game the player assumes the role of the titular adventure seeker and treasure hunter named Preston Sterling, who is examining the secrets of various myths and legends from the British Isles. As one could guess, each of his adventures is filled with various dangers and the protagonist will encounter many characters, not all of whom are friendly towards him. The gameplay differs from typical action-adventure titles because in addition to exploring the locations, speaking to encountered characters and solving various logic puzzles, the player also participates in various action sequences such as sneaking past guards or avoiding traps. The action is shown from a third-person perspective, but during the riddle solving and manipulation of various items the camera switches to first-person perspective.
