As befits a classic RPG, Doom & Destiny offers a myriad of customization options for characters’ appearance, equipment, and skills. As we gather experience, our heroes can master over 200 special powers and attacks. As for the visual layer, Doom & Destiny references the genre’s classics, including the initial installments of the Final Fantasy series. Similarly to those, the title features traditional two-dimensional graphics with an aerial view. The production features a large dose of humor, mostly connected to the fact that modern-day heroes were thrown into a fantasy world.

EverQuest II: Tears of Veeshan is the 10th DLC for a MMORPG called EverQuest II, well-known and regarded since 2004. The expansion was developed by Daybreak Game Company, people who also developed the original game in 1999, and have been maintaining the franchise ever since. This expansion takes players to a new land of Enternal Broodlands, a kind of dragons’ heaven, where the main goals is to acquire the title tears of Veeshan. The developers prepared a wide set of story missions and side quests, as well as a package of new skills – mainly the so-called dragon skills, different for different archetypes. A new character class was added in this DLC: the Channeler, along with the advanced mercenary management system, who can now be swapped “on-the-fly”. Members of guilds certainly appreciate the introduction of level-4 houses.

The action of Might and Magic II: Gates to Another World takes place directly after the events of its predecessor. When it turns out that the vile Shaltem escaped to the world of Cron thanks to a mysterious portal, a party of heroes has to follow him and stop him once more. They will be helped by his greatest enemy — Corak, whom we know from the original Might & Magic. The action is presented from the first-person perspective and takes place both in an open world as well as in cities and narrow dungeons. Yet again, we control a party of six adventurers—although this time we have two additional slots for party members and can also import heroes from the original game. The production is enriched with two new professions, innovative class-specific quests, new skills and spells as well as enhanced graphics.

The third installment of the popular RPG series created by Jon Van Canghem and his studio, New World Computing. In Might and Magic III: Isles of Terra, the vile Sheltem, whom we pursued in two previous games, finally gets to the world of Terra where he initially reigned. The tireless Corak follows him and meets a completely new party of adventurers that hail from Sheltem’s homeland. The general gameplay premise remains the same, although the production offers a significantly revamped interface, mouse support, and the possibility of saving the game at any moment. The biggest novelty is the fact that we lead a party of premade adventurers in contrast to the title’s predecessors. The game features colorful and detailed VGA graphics that beat the previous installments of the series in terms of appearance as well as high-quality music, sound effects, and digitalized voice acting.

This is actually important for the bands that will appear on stage, since our festival can be watched and rated by other players, which plays crucial role in promoting each artist. The game’s world is presented in isometric view, with fully three-dimensional objects, employing the diorama effect to great success.

Warriors of Might and Magic is the first console game in the popular RPG series. Due to the platform's character, instead of being your typical RPG game, Warriors of Might and Magic is a third person action-adventure game. We play as Allenor, a young warrior who has been accused of practicing the forbidden art of necromancy. The accusation lead to him being captured and imprisonment. For his punishment, he has to wear the Mask of the Accused, a living mask that brings him unending anguish. Our hero decides to cleans his name and find out why he was accused of such crimes. In terms of gameplay, Warriors of Might and Magic is a typical hack and slash game with RPG elements. We will explore ten vast levels where we will have to face numerous enemies. The games has a rather simple combat and spell system. In time, our hero gains more experience and levels, which allows us to level up his skills and use more powerful equipment.

The game offers a series of levels that gradually get more difficult and complex, and features an extensive level editor that allows the player to share their maps with the entire community. Volume can be easily distinguished from other games by its minimalist, 3D visuals, employing a futuristic art style.

Mario Kart 8 is – despite its name – the eleventh part of the famous arcade racing series from Nintendo, as well as the first installment created for the Wii U console. Once again we can take control of the Nintendo's most famous characters, driving their wacky vehicles. In terms of mechanics, the game borrows several solutions from the previous titles, such as underwater races or performing airborne stunts to gain points, and offers vehicles like motorcycles and gliders. Aside from well known boxes with various power-ups, racing tracks are filled with coins known from Super Mario Kart. One of the most important innovations are anti-gravity races, during which we can drive on walls and even ceilings. This is completed by traditional multiplayer modes, which allow for online or split-screen competition with other players.

An online strategy game which is a browser-based version of the cult Panzer General series. It was developed by Blue Byte Software. The action takes place during World War II although the production's approach to the subject is far from realistic. In Panzer General Online, we participate in turn-based battles that, even though inspired by historical ones, are quite loosely based on actual events. The game offers both a single player campaign and a multiplayer mode. Combat is turn-based, which is characteristic of the series, and apart from infantry, we can command armored forces, air force, and many other units. The title is enriched with elements of collectible card games — while playing, the players have to collect cards that symbolize units and construct their own decks that are then used in subsequent battles.
