Co-developed by Steve Howse and Thorntree Studios, an arcade game resembling the popular mobile and browser hit Agar.io. During the game you are in control of a small snake which grows by eating bright points. Apart from yours, there are other snakes on the map and in order to win, you have to eat what remains of the bigger ones. The only problem is that they die only if they touch other creatures with their heads, so your objective is to maneuver your snake in a way that will make others run into you. This can be achieved with a number of techniques. There is no final purpose to the game, so you can play till the Earth stops turning. Similarly to the aforementioned production by M28 studio, Slither.io features minimalistic visuals. Even though they are simple, they still can give an ample scope for showing your brains and skill.

A sandbox RPG which is a stand-alone version of a MMORPG Wurm Online. Both titles use the same technology, gameplay mechanics, and content. The difference being that Wurm Unlimited introduces a single player mode, and allows for creating private servers for multiplayer gameplay. Wurm Unlimited throws the player into a fantasy universe, and offers a complete freedom in choosing as to what to do next and what line of work should we pick up. We can get involved in animal husbandry, farming, sea adventures, city management, or even become a god. The game world is dynamic, with changing seasons, and plant growth. The players can also change the area around them, by e.g. cutting trees, or digging holes in the ground. A complex crafting system allows for resource gathering and constructing items, buildings, or even entire cities. Combat in Wurm Unlimited takes place in real time, and is slightly arcade in nature. Aside from smaller encounters with AI-controlled monsters, great wars can erupt between factions controlled by the players.

A mobile platform game from an independent Finish studio Muro, which evolved from a simple but successful project initiated by a few Alto University students. In Shadow Bug, we assume the role of a militant worm armed with two swords. The protagonist's job is to clear the forest of the hostile bugs and other opponents. During the gameplay, we traverse successive levels, in which we meet a whole bunch of different enemies and a large number of traps, which often require some cleverness. The hero can move left or right only, sometimes pushing static objects, but he has a spectacular way of dealing with opponents – his style of fighting is reminiscent of a ninja fighter. After finishing each stage, we receive a rating in form of stars, whose number depends on, among others, the time elapsed and the number of gathered gleaming balls. Shadow Bug has a characteristic graphic layer – only the backgrounds are colored, while the whole foreground, along with the hero and his enemies, is presented in black.

A mobile battle-strategy game set in the world of Warhammer 40,000. It is a virtual rendition of Battlefleet Gothic - a tabletop game published by Games Workshop. Battlefleet Gothic: Leviathan was developed by Grand Cauldron and offers an extensive campaign based on the stories from expansions, comic strips and novels belonging to the Shield of Baal series. Battlefleet Gothic: Leviathan follows the Tyranids' invasion of the Cryptus system, as a result of which humanity loses majority of their ships together with Admiral Julius van Avacor. The player assumes the role of his successor who tries to hold the system until backup arrives. The player participates in turn-based battles set in space and based on the rules of the original tabletop game. The pace of the gameplay here is slow, resembling sea battles. Taking into account both the advantages and disadvantages of different ships having their individual features and weaponry is the key to achieve success in battle. In the campaign, the player is free to pick a side, choosing either the Empire or the Tyranids. Subsequent races and missions are added over time in post-release updates.

They were created to save mankind, but now they fight against characters similar to themselves in the Galactic Hero's Tournament. Gameplay is not that dynamic, which makes lags less troublesome. The game has rather simple rules to follow. Before entering the tournament's arena, we have to choose our equipment from around thirty available weapons. We have have five weapon slots: melee weapons (i.e. an axe), small arms (pistol, crossbow, etc.), large guns (shotgun, flamethrower), explosives and special items, i.e. atomic bomb. We begin with level 1 weapons, but we can get money by killing our opponents, which we then can spend on higher tier weapons. Square Heroes also has character progression mechanics.

Most of the time, we control a coast guard unit, seen from a third-person perspective. Our ship is sometimes supported by a smaller boat, of which we assume control during certain emergencies. Additionally, Coast Guard introduces an ability to disembark the boat in order to search an island, or a room on an oil rig. In such cases, the game switches to a FPP mode, and we have to use available items to solve encountered problems, similarly to adventure games. Coast Guard employs three-dimensional visuals, but their quality is not a highlight of the game.

You assume the role of Samson who, as the title outright states, is clinically dead. This means that for him, the time has stopped – due to that, he can contemplate his whole life. This translates into traveling through surreal places, which symbolize the hero’s mind, and talking with his own subconsciousness. In Clinically Dead, the action is presented from the first-person perspective. Logic puzzles are the backbone of the game – you need to manipulate time, represented by multi-colored stains on the environment elements. Your job is to maneuver these objects so that they adjust correctly at the right moment, which unlocks another location. Moreover, the hero also jumps on the platforms, faces opponents (using melee weapons or magic bullets), or sneaks behind their backs. A roguelike RPG created by Avalon Games, a developer popular for the mobile arcade game Crazy Fingers. The Greedy Cave is free-to-play with optional microtransactions. The player assumes the role of a daredevil entering the kingdom of Iblis in order to explore the legendary complex of dungeons and caves, allegedly filled with priceless treasures. The protagonist encounters difficulties embodied by hostile creatures and ruthless looters, and the player has to deal with them. Dungeons are procedurally generated, thus they are always shaped differently. As the player progresses through the game, the protagonist gains experience, obtains better equipment, and learns new skills. The two-dimensional graphics of the game resemble Don't Starve in terms of their stylistics. The specific atmosphere of the game has its source in subdued colors and exaggerated characters - especially the various kinds of monsters.

Atomic Space Command is a multiplayer action game set in space. It was developed by No, You Shut Up!, a studio established by ex-employees of Maxis who worked on games like SimCity and The Sims. Our task in the game is to dominate an entire solar system with the help of our spaceships. Each player has a crucial role to fill on our ship, which makes playing alone a bit hard, but not impossible. In addition to other players, there are some NPCs aboard our ships. We choose them from a rich roster of characters. We can use our rewards to upgrade and modify our ships and build new ones. Players are divided into two rivaling teams, each of them made of many space ships. Rivalry in the game focuses on taking control of planets. Doing so allows us to build bases on them that generate victory points and resources. Team that has more victory points wins.

A casual HOPA game developed by Organic 2 Digital Studio. Vampire Legends: The True Story of Kisilova takes us to 18th century Europe, fifty years after a terrible plague decimated Habsburg lands. A small city, Kisilova, observes a series of mysterious deaths, which seem to foreshadow the return of the plague. In order to prevent a widespread panic from ensuing, the Prince of Wittemberg sends a pair of investigators to the town, who are tasked with discovering the truth. The plot of the game is inspired by a real-life incident from 1725, when a deceased Serbian farmer named Petar Blagojevic was rumored to have become a vampire. The authors mixed real events with folk legends, creating an engaging story. When it comes to mechanics, Vampire Legends is a traditional adventure game intertwined by hidden object sections. During the game, we explore static locations, converse with encountered characters, gather items, and solve logic puzzles. Additionally, we need to make decisions that influence the plot, influencing the final outcome of the story.

Arcade, Auto-runner, Experimental/artistic, FPP, Indie Games, Polish, Science Fiction, Singleplayer.

A surrealistic arcade game from the Polish Evil Indie Games studio, set in an alternate version of the year 1994. It shows a grim, retrofuturistic vision of future, as imagined in the 70’s. In the age of a totalitarian regime that tries to break all opposition, we play as an ordinary clerk, who is given the task of delivering a message to someone known as the Ice Queen. Gameplay-wise, No Thing is a rather classic arcade game from the endless runner genre, where we observe world from the perspective of our hero, who automatically runs through narrow, floating paths. We must turn at correct moments to remain on the track and avoid colliding with obstacles. Game offers a campaign (with a very twisted plot) mode or an endless mode, the latter with a never-ending path and us trying to go as far as possible.

A space arcade game from the endless runner genre, developed by Kool2Play. At first sight, Hyperide resembles classic space shooters that were once popular in the arcades. We control a small space ship that keeps flying upwards through levels filled with enemies and dangers. However, the gameplay strays from other similar games with one important feature: our ship doesn’t have any weapons mounted, meaning that our only choice is to avoid collisions with incoming objects. Hyperide offers two different game modes. The first one revolves around completing certain objectives within the levels with clearly defined beginning and end. The other one is infinite mode, where threats are generated randomly, our space track never ends, and the game goes on indefinitely until our ship is destroyed.

A sequel to the tactical shooter that combined science fiction and the Western genre. Just like the first installment, Space Marshals 2 is an episodic game developed by Swedish mobile game developer Pixelbite (creators of the Reckless Racing series and Xenowerk shooter). The player once again becomes a space marshal who takes on numerous dangerous criminals. In terms of gameplay mechanics, the sequel is very similar to its predecessor. Therefore, we get a top-down shooter enriched by multiple tactical options. In order to clear the levels from various opponents the hero has to sneak, silently kill unaware enemies, and use cover. When it comes to open combat, he can use a wide arsenal of fire weapons and lethal gadgets (e.g. grenades). From time to time, the protagonist also fights with powerful bosses – winning against them usually requires adopting the right tactic. Space Marshals 2 is played on a variety of levels whose setting can be described as a technologically advanced version of the Wild West.
