A match-3 puzzle game developed by King for mobile devices and social network services. The gameplay in Candy Crush Saga is very simple. The player is tasked with moving (vertically or horizontally) the candies on the map in such way so that they combine into groups of at least three identical ones. Candies combined in such way disappear and the player receives points. Each level features specific objectives to meet, such as obtaining specified high score or combining a predetermined number of specific candies. The game is more interesting thanks to various bonuses such as explosives which can be detonated after matching a larger number of candies in one go. These explosions can clear large parts of the level at once. The game features colorful, “cartoonish” graphics and it employs a typical free-to-play distribution model with microtransactions.

A unique mix of an RPG and a match-3 logic game characteristic for its contents, periodically released in the form of episodes. Ticket to Earth takes place in a distant future in one of the space colonies established by humanity. An unexpected catastrophe forces the inhabitants to evacuate back to Earth. Unfortunately, the only means of evacuation is a single starliner that can hold only a small portion of the citizens. A riot breaks out, while the colony itself is under attack from peacekeeping robots, bandits, and aggressive mutants. The player assumes control of a group of four heroes that attempt to discover the truth behind the unexpected downfall of the colony. The action of the game is seen from an isometric perspective. The campaign is divided into missions that see us take part in turn-based encounters on a board covered by a square grid with tiles marked with different symbols. Stepping on a field bolsters the attached ability. As a result, the key to success lies in crossing as many fields as possible with one move, which is rewarded with useful bonuses. Aside from the above, the authors have introduced an extensive skill tree of a hundred abilities divided between four schools. The game is characteristic for its colorful visuals and animated cut-scenes.

Another installment in the popular series of puzzle games developed by King. Since 2012, the series has become extremely popular among mobile platform and Facebook users. Candy Crush Soda Saga expands the ideas known from the previous installments of the series. The main objective of the game is, as always, to combine the elements found on the board into groups of at least three objects of the same type. However, this time, in addition to the candies, the game also features sodas. One of the main tasks is to use them to fill the levels. The core mechanics remain the same: player must connect colored water in the bottle with a candy that has the same color. The task must be completed within a limited number of moves. The less moves are used, the bigger the score. The game features colorful graphics similar to its predecessors.

All actions like attacking, defending and healing are activated by creating chains of similar symbols on an interactive board – there must be at least three similar symbols in a line. Hero Emblems 2 features attractive two-dimensional graphics filled with bright colors, cartoon-like style and character design inspired by Japanese animation.

Pokemon Shuffle is a free-to-play match-3 game with optional microtransactions. We play as a pokemon trainer who duels wild pocket monsters. if we win, the pokemon we have defeated is added to our collection. Gameplay focuses on aligning three or more elements of the same kind into horizontal and vertical lines. We move small squares with pokemon icons around a small board. In order to attack, we have to align at least three pokemon icons of the same type (i.e. three Pikachus will create an electric attack). The more we use one pokemon, the stronger it gets. However, we have to remember we only have a limited number of moves to use in battle. If we use them all before winning, we automatically loose. Our enemies also have strengths and weaknesses, so it is advisable to plan ahead before battle.

The player assumes the role of a gardener whose task is to restore a parcel back to its former glory and discover the secrets of the place along the way. The entire game is set in a large garden divided into several sections. In terms of mechanics, typical "match-3-objects" rules were applied here. Thus the player's goal is to match pictures of different plants together to create spectacular-looking combinations, which results in scoring an adequate number of points. Those can be spent on gradual expanding of the parcel. The experience is diversified by numerous bonuses and hacks, such as stopping the passage of time for a short while. Between subsequent levels, the player is taken to story-based segments - during those, the protagonist can talk to different characters, buy new garden accessories and plant more and more beautiful pieces of greenery.

The title that uses the name of the famous singer is a “match-3” puzzle game. In contrast to other games of this genre, this time the objects aren’t moved on the map, but dropped from above and the gameplay takes place in turns. Combining various expensive gems into jewelry is awarded with points - the longer the chains the more points. Love Rocks Starring Shakira contains almost 150 levels, featuring famous places from all over the world, such as Taj Mahal and El Dorado, in the background. During the game one can listen to Shakira’s songs. Rankings and social options allow the players to compare their results with their friends.

A turn-based strategy game set in a steampunk world and inspired by both the mechanics of the Puzzle Quest series and the works of such writers as Herbert Wells or Jules Verne. Ironcast is set in an alternative version of the Victorian England, and the country has been at war with France for a decade. When the French are beginning to gain the upper hand in the conflict, a private association is founded in order to produce cutting-edge combat mechs. The player battles subsequent skirmishes that utilize the mechanics once introduced in the so-called "match-3" logic games. During each turn, the player can match objects on the map up to three times, erasing elements which symbolize money, ammo, energy, repairs, or the mech's cooling system. Afterwards, those are used to reinforce the player's combat machines, as well as to activate different special abilities. The in-game campaigns are randomly generated, and each time, the player's goals are to stop the forces of the French, and defeat their boss in a final fight.

Angry Birds Fight! is a multiplayer-oriented title in which players from all around the world challenge themselves to duels, taking place on tile boards that see the players group bird tiles into lines of three or more. Depending on the color and the type of the connected tiles, we charge various attacks that enable us to deprive our enemy of health points. As a reward for wins, the players receive experience points and coins. Both items enable us to develop our account and unlock useful abilities, acquire equipment (e.g. weapons, pieces of clothing, helmets), or upgrade the boat used to move around the game world.

In Battle Chef Brigade, the player assumes the role of one of the available chefs, participating in cooking competitions, similar to those featured in numerous TV shows such as Iron Chef. The only difference is that the game is set in a fantasy world, and acquiring particular ingredients requires the player to visit diverse locations and find them on their own. Not all ingredients can be simply picked up - some have to be fought over, while others can be created after combining several items. For example, the player cuts down a Venus flytrap, luring a a chicken, which, having eaten the plant, lays an egg. The cooking itself is based on the match-three rules. Particular ingredients feature various tastes, and combining the same tastes provides better scores. Between the cook-offs, the player can visit the town, practice his skills, and interact with NPCs. The game delivers 2D visuals inspired by the manga style.
