Another installment of the popular dancing game series by Ubisoft. In Just Dance 2016, the fun is about dancing to the hottest hits of pop music. Video clips with dancers showing us the moves are displayed on the screen and our task is to recreate the choreography as faithfully as possible. The biggest novelty of this installment is the introduction of the Just Dance Controller application, thanks to which all we need to play is a smartphone held in our hand. Moreover, the Just Dance Unlimited platform, which is a streaming service that lets us dance to the tracks it offers, debuted with the production. The game also received an updated song list; these include: Uptown Funk - Mark Ronson Ft. Bruno Mars, Born this Way - Lady Gaga, All About that Bass - Meghan Trainor, I Gotta Feeling - the Black Eyed Peas, Want to Want Me - Jason Derulo, and many other hits. The track list consists of tracks for solo performances, duets, and even dancing groups.

A rhythm game developed for PlayStation 4. DJMAX Respect is a special annual installment of the DJMAX series which was started in 2004 by the Korean company Neowiz. Similarly to Guitar Hero or Rock Band, it uses a vertical board divided into several tracks where colorful bricks appear and move down towards the bottom. Each track is assigned a gamepad button which we have to press when a brick is in the corresponding field. DJMAX Respect features a hundred songs taken from DJMAX Portable and DJMAX Portable 2. The music library can be also expanded by buying additional tunes in the form of DLC. Apart from a standard arcade mode, in which we select songs from the list, DJMAX Respect offers a campaign that consists of a number of missions that add different kinds of limitations and difficulties. Moreover, the title allows us to compete 1 vs 1, both over the Internet and locally on a single console.

Another installment in the Mario Party series by Nintendo, released for the 3DS portable console. It is basically a virtual version of a classic board game. The game is focused on the multiplayer mode, which can include up to 4 players, who take on the roles of colorful board pieces and move around the board according to the results of the die rolls. That's how you travel through locations, trying to gather the eponymous stars and find new friends, such as Mario, Peach, and Donkey Kong. Those friends help you in overcoming challenges and obstacles, which you encounter during your adventures. Depending on the chosen game mode, in Mario Party: Star Rush you either play against other players, or cooperate with them to beat powerful boss enemies.

Similarly to what the players may know from previous editions, your task is to follow the choreographies performed by colorful characters dancing on the screen. The more accurately you repeat their moves, the higher the score you get. Just Dance 2018 offers several dozen pop songs, both classic hits and new releases. The next installment in the popular series of dancing games developed by Ubisoft. The series allows the player to feel like the professional pop dancers who accompany the greatest stars on the top scenes of the world. In Just Dance 2017 the basic gameplay mechanics remained unchanged in comparison to the previous entries in the franchise. During the game the player must repeat the movements of the dancers displayed on the screen and the system (which, depending on the gaming platform employs different controls) will grade performance and technique. The game, as usually, is filled with licensed hits of such performers as Queen, Shakira, will.i.am, David Guetta, Sia, Justin Bieber and PSY. It is worth mentioning that Just Dance 2017 is the first installment of the series that was released also on personal computers.

A re-edition of the classic music game for PlayStation 2, one of the first productions of Harmonix, the creators of the Guitar Hero franchise, as well as the Rock Band and Dance Central series. It was developed thanks to a successful fund-raising campaign on Kickstarter. Amplitude combines typical music game features with elements of a 3D space shooter. We sit in the cockpit of a spaceship, called Beat Blaster, which races through the musical cyberspace on a track that reflects the rhythmic notation of the currently played song. It is divided into several paths, each representing individual elements of the song (vocals, guitar, bass, and drums), and our task is to press the right button when a given instrument is playing. Compared to the 2003’s original, the game offers enhanced graphics, improved controls and a completely new soundtracks, composed in large part by the developers themselves.
