Hogwarts Legacy: Can you skip dialogs?

In Hogwarts Legacy, you will spend a large portion of your time talking to many characters. Sometimes these dialogs can go on for a very long time. If you are one of those people who do not pay much attention to the plot, or read dialogs instead of waiting until a character finishes their line, then this page is for you. Here we answer whether it is possible to skip dialogs in the game, and if so, how.

Is it possible to skip dialogs?

If you want to skip dialogs, we have good news for you. You can do that in Hogwarts Legacy. The same applies to most cut-scenes appearing in the game.

Once you start talking to a character, you can speed up the conversation. Triangle on PS5, right mouse button on PC, and Y Button on Xbox. Each time you press this button, you will skip one line of dialog.

As for cut-scenes, you will have to hold the Triangle/Y/RMB for some time to skip them. The skip indicator will show in the lower right corner of the screen. When it is full, the cut-scene will end (or a new one will start).
