Hogwarts Legacy: Tomes and Tribulations

This page of the guide to Hogwarts Legacy contains a walkthrough of the Tomes and Tribulations main quest - you need to analyze a levitating book found after sneaking into the library. You will find out what new main and side quests will be unlocked after meeting the professor.

Rewards for completing the quest

1. XP;
2. Professor Hecat's Assignment 2 unlocked;
3. The Girl from Uagadou main quest unlocked - during it, you will have to leave Hogwarts again;
4. Herbology Class main quest unlocked;
5. Crossed Wands: Round 3 side quest unlocked - this is the final, most difficult round of the fights with the students;
6. Spell Combination Practice 2 side quest - this is the final training with more advanced combinations.

Return to Professor Fig's classroom

You will receive this quest after completing the Secrets of the Restricted Section main quest, i.e. after sneaking into the library and finding a levitating book in the dungeon.

Get to the circle in front of the class. Inside, you will witness a conversation between professors - analyze the book you have obtained.

After the conversation, you will receive a message about the received mail. These will be letters from several different NPCs. New quests related to them will automatically appear in the journal.

The game will show a short tutorial on using the world map and explain the meaning of the main markers on the map, including the village where Natsai is waiting.
