Mass Effect Andromeda: Fact or Fiction

How to unlock: Speak with Ari Vesjek [Voeld: Techiix].

Here you can find the guide for Fact or Fiction quest. It is one of the Heleus Assignments (side quests) in Mass Effect: Andromeda game. This quest can be unlocked during your stay on planet Voeld. In this quest you must examine Kett database as requested by one of the Angara scholars. To do that you must visit Kett operations center.

Unlocking the quest

Ari Vesjek can be found in Techiix

This quest can be unlocked after you reach Techiix on planet Voeld. There, you can meet with Angara scholar called Ari Vesjek. He asks you to visit a Kett operations center and get the information about the first encounter between Angara and Kett.

Search the Kett database

The Kett database

This quest can be continued only after you attack the Kett base on Voeld during Remove the Heart side quest. After getting to the base and eliminating the enemy forces you can search for the database terminal. Break into it.

Disable security matrix

The security matrix is in the north-west part of Kett base. When you get there check the area and search for its weak points. By using the scanner you must find three Critical Subsystems, one of them is presented in the picture (all three machines are close to each other). Sabotage all of them (approach them and hold the interaction button).

Retrieve the data from the console

The new console is in the south-west part of the base. Hack it to retrieve the historical data. You can now return to Ari Vesjek if you want to finish this quest. During the conversation you can suggest to him that he can add to the historical notes the true or fabricated facts about the first contact with Kett.

Rewards for finishing the quest: XP, Andromeda Viability Points.
