Mass Effect Andromeda: Peebee Remnant Scanner

How to unlock: Automatically after completing Peebee: Secret Project [Tempest].

Here you can find the guide for Peebee: Remnant Scanner quest. This is one of the side quests in Mass Effect: Andromeda game that belongs to the category called "Allies and relationships". This quest is connected with Peebee and you get it automatically after completing one of her previous quests - Peebee: Secret Project. In order to complete this quest you must find rare Remnant devices that are necessary for Peebee to construct the titular scanner.

Speak with Peebee on Tempest

You can read the e-mail first when you are on Tempest or go straight to Peebee. You learn that she needs help in finding the Remnant artifacts that are necessary for her to build a scanner. You must visit various planets and search for those devices.

Visit the Remnant vault on Eos

The Remnant Console is right next to the water reservoir

The Remnant vault on Eos is in the south part of the planet, near the big water reservoir. There, you must find the Remnant console and interact with it.

Get the Rem-tec on Eos

A few objects emerges from the water. You must jump on them and get on a small island. The first Remnant group will attack you during your travel to the island. During the fights you should remember that falling down to the water will move you to the starting point. When you get on the island find the first Remnant relic. By taking it you get Andromeda Viability Points and an information about next vault that you must examine.

Warning - A transporter with bandits will appear right after you get the artifact. You can defeat them or quickly get on dry land and escape from the location.

Visit the Remnant site on Havarl

Your destination on Havarl is a Remnant site located in the northern part of the map. You may have had visited the site earlier - visiting the ruins was one of the objectives of A Dying Planet. Start by clearing the enemy found near the entrance.

Search the Havarl site for rem-tech

Use the gravity well to descend to the vault. You'll need to reach the final room of the ruins - the one which is located furthermost to the east (the same room in which you've defeated the Remnant destroyer during A Dying Planet). The area is now guarded by a few lesser Remnant. Defeat them, then approach the eastern door (shown on the screenshot) to begin a short conversation with Rylie. You'll acquire some Andromeda Viability Points, while the quest itself will be updated.

Visit the Remnant ruins on Kadara

The site on Kadara - watch out for outlaws

Travel to Kadara and start exploring the wastelands. The ruins you're looking for are located in the central part of the map. You can find them easily by making your way west using the road that begins next to the entrance to slums. Your arrival will be marked by an encounter with a group of outlaws, including a powerful berserker. Maintain your distance and use armor-piercing attacks to defeat the enemy.

Search the Kadara site for rem-tech

The container holding the relic can be found next to a stack of supply chests. Unfortunately, the container is empty - you'll encounter a datapad leading you to a certain Krogan in Kadara Port.

Meet with Peebee in Kadara Port to acquire the rem-tech piece from the Krogan

Return to Kadara Port and find Peebee, who is standing on one of the balconies in the central area of the port. For now, the search for the Krogan is on hold, as you'll learn that Poc, Peebee's bot, has been stolen from onboard the Tempest by Kalinda. The quest is over, but you'll begin a follow-up (Peebee: Reclaiming Poc) right away.

Rewards: Experience Points (XP), Andromeda Viability Points, a new side quest: Peebee: Reclaiming Poc.
