Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition Gets a Release Date

Microsoft has disclosed the release date of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. In addition, the game Age of Empires: Definitive Edition made its debut on Steama today.

In Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition we will play in three months.

We finally got to know the date of the premiere of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is a revamped version of the classic RTS from 1999. The developers of the remaster informed that their game will debut on November 14th this year. The date was disclosed during Microsoft's gamescom presentation.

The game will be a PC exclusive and will be available on both Microsoft Store and Steam. Interestingly, owners of Age of Empires II: HD Edition on Steam will receive a 25% discount.

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition will be available in Xbos Game Pass on the day the release. The game will allow Steam and Microsoft Store users to play together.

Revealing the release date of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition wasn't the only attraction Microsoft has prepared for fans of the series. Today, Age of Empires: Definitive Edition debuted on Steam – this is a refreshed version of the first entry in the legendary series. The production can be purchased for $19.99. The game is also available to the subscribers of Xbox Game Pass.

Similarly to AOE II, Age of Empires: Definitive Edition supports crossplay between owners of Microsoft Store and Steam versions.
