First season of Andor, a show in which Diego Luna plays the role of the future leader of the Rebellion, turned out to be a huge success and has gained a lot of loyal fans. Not surprisingly, both viewers and the actors starring inthe show are looking forward to the release of new episodes. Genevieve O'Reilly, portraying Mon Mothma, talked about the biggest and most significant change that the new series will bring during one of her recent interviews.

It was revealed some time ago that, unlike the first season, whose plot was devoid of time skips, the new installment will include events that unfold over four years. Now the actress has revealed that equally every three episodes we will jump by a year.

"I think the excitement of jumping back in time every three episodes drives the narrative in a way that is wildly exciting and deeply compelling. Thanks to the fact that I belong to both the first and second seasons, I am able to see the difference in how the story is told, the difference in its structure. [...]. And I think what they’ve done going into the second season is quite extraordinary, the way it allows for the piece to be almost like a juggernaut," she announced.

It looks like the second season will be at least as successful as the previous one, due to the talented actors and because of the great script. O'Reilly's words attest to this:

"The people involved in the project are brilliant. I love watching instinctive actors [...]. Tony is a great filmmaker and great to work with, he is very interested in talking about the project [...]. It's an incredible experience - get scripts that are beautifully written and contain a comprehensive story".

Recall that in addition to Cassian Andor and the character played by Genevieve O'Reilly in the production we will also see the character of Andy Serkis. Kino Loy, portrayed by the actor, has gained special sympathy from viewers.

New episodes of the series will hit Disney+ at the end of 2024.
