Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon is a new game made by FromSoftware. With the success of the studio's Souls games, some fans might have forgotten about their Armored Core franchise which debuted in 1997 on PS1. This series moves away from fantasy settings and goes for a futuristic look. As a pilot of a mech (a big robot), you'll have to finish missions of different difficulty levels, fight against big bosses, and try to stay alive. Taking into consideration that games from FromSoftware are not the easiest ones many fans wonder about saving system in Armored Core 6. Let’s learn more about it.

Armored Core 6 – Can you save the game

Sadly, you can’t save Armored Core 6. In the case of longer missions or more demanding (as in the case of fights with bosses), the game will auto save. It does so in convenient places, so you shouldn’t be discouraged, checkpoints are well placed.

Of course, you may also restart the whole mission. It is even possible to rerun the fight after you have completed it. So, you may come back to more interesting fragments of the game.

It is also important to notice that you have only one save slot. It is true for both auto save and the story. If you wish to start the new game, the title warns you that it will overwrite existing run.
