Extensive Presentation of RPG Avowed Inbound? Obsidian Teases Something Big

Most likely, Obsidian will reveal soon some of the cards related to the release of Avowed, an upcoming RPG set in the world of Pillars of Eternity.

Although information about Obsidian Entertainment's upcoming game Avowed has been scarce so far, a blog post by developer working at the studio suggests that new information about the game will soon be available.

Tweets herald storms

Hannah Kennedy, a concept artist previously working on The Outer Worlds, announced on Twitter that she is looking forward to presenting the results of her two years of work.

Her colleague Josh Sawyer, who works at Obsidian as a game designer, seconded her. Although his comment is just an emoji showing hands folded in prayer, there may be a deeper meaning behind it.

Why would some seemingly insignificant tweets matter? It's all thanks to the suggestion that Obisdian could appear at the upcoming Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase.

It is very possible that during this conference Avowed will be presented in its full glory. The game has been in development for a long time, and so far, apart from the 2020 trailer and a handful of rumors we still do not know too much about it.

The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase could be the perfect opportunity to promote the RPG.

So far we know that the game will be a first-person action RPG set in the same world as the Pillars of Eternity series. The game will be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
