As World of Warcraft has evolved, Blizzard has also decided to change its policy towards third-party applications. In yesterday's announcement we read that from now on the so-called multi-boxing, i.e. playing on several accounts at once, is prohibited and the company will punish everyone who uses this method.

The developers made this decision because they noticed that such actions are unfair and have a negative impact on the game and the entire community - the studio recommends that we stop using this type of software immediately so that we can enjoy access to WoW for a long time. Players who continue to do so, however, will first receive an appropriate warning. After that, their World of Warcraft account may be suspended or even permanently closed .

That said, Blizzard pointed out that multi-boxing in itself is not against the company's policy, but it will be much more difficult from now on. It was specified that using software that allows for sending input to multiple accounts at the same time will result in penalties.

Let's recall that the latest expansion for World of Warcraft - Shadowlands - will debut on PC on November 23.
