Blizzard has released a list of changes in the latest update for Diablo 4. All character classes will receive enhancements, and Barbarian players have the most to look forward to.
It seems like Blizzard realized they went too far with the nerfs, and now all six classes in Diablo IV are underpowered, especially the previously weakened Barbarian. As a result, the upcoming update marked with the number 2.3.1 will bring only buffs and many bug fixes.
Let's start with the Spiritborn, available exclusively as part of the Vessel of Hatred expansion. In his case, three things have been buffed, which will now deal slightly more damage. We're talking about the abilities Payback and Razor Wings, as well as the Aspect of Pestilence.
Among the basic classes, Barbarians have the most reasons to be happy, as they will receive the most enhancements. Blizzard decided to increase the damage dealt by as many as seven abilities: Battle Trance, Double Swing, Hammer of the Ancients, Rend, Whirlwind, Upheaval, and Barbed Carapace.
The other classes in Diablo IV don't look as impressive as before, but they're still pretty good. In their case, the following elements will become stronger:
Among the general changes affecting all players, it's worth mentioning the adjustment of the "Forgotten Wisdom" affix in the Nightmare Dungeons. The maximum number of Motes that can appear there has been significantly increased. Each of them will now provide more experience, which will additionally be shared among all party members.
Besides, after clearing the Pits, you'll receive extra crafting stones, from 2 to 9, depending on your rank. Horadrim chests and rewards for completing Legion Events will now also provide more materials for recovery.
Apart from the things mentioned, the full list of changes also includes a lot of fixed errors. You can check out the whole thing on the game's website.
Diablo IV, along with the Vessel of Hatred expansion, is available on PC, PS4, PS5, XOne, and XSX/S. The basic version of the title is also available on Game Pass.
