Castlevania Season 3 in March

The producers of Netflix's Castlevania confirmed that its third season will debut in early March. A total of ten new half-hour episodes will await the fans of Trevor Belmont's adventures.

Netflix confirmed that the third season of the animated adaptation of the Castlevania series, created by Konami, will debut worldwide on March 5. The new series will consist of ten about half-hour-long episodes, continuing the story of the two previous seasons from 2017 and 2018. In the near future we should expect a first trailer of the animation, which will give us a foretaste of what will be waiting for us next month.

Let's recall that the series is based on the plot of the first few Castlevania games and tells the story of a vampire hunter named Trevor Belmont. American studio Powerhouse Animation and the well-known comic book writer Warren Ellis are responsible for the production. The first attempts to create an animated adaptation of the series were made in 2007. However, due to the lack of interest from distributors, for years the project has remained in the sphere of dreams of its originators. Everything changed in 2015 when it received financial support from Netflix. The first season, consisting of only four episodes, debuted in July 2017. Great reception of the show by critics and viewers, put wind in the sails of the producers and after a dozen or so months they provided fans with another eight episodes. Proof of the success achieved by the animated Castlevania can be seen in the fact that its third season was announced only a week after the release of the second one. Work on it has been going on for two years now and if you believe the creators' assurances, it will be the best and most spectacular season in the series so far.
