It's quite possible that we'll be flying helicopters in Fortnite today.

Update

According to the leaks, the latest update has introduced helicopter that players have been waiting for. However, the information that only one player will be able to use the helicopter has not been confirmed, as even the whole team will be able to use it. Patch 12.20 also added new operations and missions, fixed some bugs and made changes in some locations on the map (you can read about them here).

Original message

The second season of Chapter Two in Fortnite is in full swing, but for some time now voices of dissatisfied players started popping up on the web, pointing out that the game lacks some solid novelties that would keep them interested for longer. The start of the next season less than a month ago introduced some fresh ideas, but many hoped for more. It is quite possible that this state of affairs will change soon, because - according to one of the most popular data miners, spedicey1 - with today's update, among others, helicopters, new one-person vehicles, will finally be released.

According to the reports, the machines are supposed to have 1500 life points and what is important, they will not affect the balance of the game (as it was the case with mechs). You can check the full specification of the helicopters, found in the game files, at this address. In just a few hours we will find out if the leak is real, although the landing sites present in the game or official graphics have been suggesting for some time now that the helicopters will actually appear

It is also worth hoping that with the new update, more interesting and encouraging changes will come to the game. The last months have not been kind to Fortnite - January was the game's worst period in financial terms since 2017. What's more, a week ago a strong competitor appeared on the battle royal market - Call of Duty: Warzone - played by 15 million players within a few days after launch.
