Warzone's Pacific Map is Riddled With Bugs; Players are Livid

The new map in CoD: Warzone, located on the Pacific, turns out to cause a lot of problems for the players. All due to errors with textures, which, according to many people, make Activision's game „unplayable”.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. New map added to CoD: Warzone suffers from a number of bugs and glitches;
  2. The problem is said to affect textures in the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the game.

Yesterday CoD: Warzone received a brand new map - the Pacific island of Caldera. Along with it, the game also got an update for the Ricochet anti-cheat. As usual, fans of Warzone complained about the ineffectiveness of the anti-cheat system, but now there is a new topic. The new map "features" a large number of glitches, especially on PS4 and PS5 consoles, as reported by players (via Charlie Intel).

Let's start with the fact that on the day of release of the new arena for CoD: Warzone seems to have experienced a lot of trouble with the servers; players were unable to enter the game, and even if they managed to do so, the game displayed a tendecy to freeze on the new map.

To this, we must add bad looking and disturbing texture loading or bizarre visual glitches. You can see some examples below.

As mentioned earlier, texture bugs only affect the Sony console version. Apparently, the developers from Raven Software know about the problem and are checking where its source lies.
