Concept Art From New Mass Effect Has Fans Imagine Second Andromeda

Recent days have brought some new concept arts from the recently announced next installment of Mass Effect. They don't reveal too much, although fans predict that we should expect a sequel to Andromeda.

The Mass Effect series is now experiencing a renaissance. On November 7, the remaster of entire original trilogy was finally announced and the work on the new installment of the game was confirmed, although we will wait at least a few more years before it will be released. So no concrete details should be expected in the nearest future, not to mention trailers. Nevertheless, BioWare has prepared some interesting materials for fans in the form of concept arts. The first one appeared a dozen or so days ago and you've probably seen it (this is the art at the top), and the next ones saw the light of day with a book published by the developers, summarizing 25 years of their activity. Its title is BioWare: Stories and Secrets from 25 Years of Game Development.

Although we don't have the book ourselves, it has already been thoroughly researched by Internet users. They have uploaded a few concept arts from the next installment of Mass Effect on Tumblr . We can see a few wonders of cosmic technology on them.

In the art number 1 the devs probably included the same spacecraft (the so-called mud skipper) as above. The second one shows constructions similar to those left by the Abandoned from Andromeda, so the fans are already wondering if we will not have to deal with a sequel. On the third art we see something like a new MR-7 series mass relay.

Did the above illustrations clarify your vision of the next game? If so, share your feelings about BioWare's upcoming title. Once again, it will not be released too soon. We will play Mass Effect: Legendary Edition much earlier, as early as spring 2021. It will appear on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and will also on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S as part of backwards compatibility.
