Cyberpunk 2077 Soon With Ray Tracing Overdrive

Cyberpunk 2077 will be even more beautiful after the debut of Ray Tracing: Overdrive mode, a new visual comparison shows.

What will Cyberpunk 2077 look like with tweaked ray tracing compared to the currently available options? youtuber Cycu1 decided to answer this question, publishing a compilation of footage from the trailer of Ray Tracing: Overdrive mode with the game on ultra graphics settings.

The internet user took screenshots during the game at 4K resolution and with the currently best graphics options enabled, including - of course - ray tracing. He compared these screenshots obtained with shots from the footage published by Nvidia in September. You can see the effect in the video below.

Ray Tracing: Overdrive mode will make lighting effects and reflections even more beautiful. Perhaps it will coincide with addition of support for a new version of DLSS technology to Cyberpunk 2077, which will make it easier for user PCs to cope with these undoubtedly more demanding graphics options.

Recall that the work of CD Projekt Red will not be the only game that will use DLSS 3. Nvidia announced that it will be supported by "more than 35 games and applications," including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Dying Light 2: Stay Human (in the case of Techland's work, we are still waiting for the implementation of this innovation) and The Hogwarts Legacy.

We do not yet know when Cyberpunk 2077 players will get the update introducing Ray Tracing: Overdrive mode to the game.
