Cyberpunk 2077's Latest Hotfix Prevents Game Crashes

The PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 has received a patch that prevents the game from crashing on configurations equipped with older CPU models.

CD Projekt RED announced on Twitter that a hotfix has been released for the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077, which removes the use of the AVX (Advanced Vector Extensions) instruction set from the game's executable (.exe) file. This is supposed to prevent it from crashing, which occurred on configurations equipped with older CPU models that do not support the aforementioned extension. So if you had this kind of problem with Cyberpunk, download the update and see if it has indeed been resolved. The download does not change the version of the game - it will still be 1.3.
