Dead Island 2 is a newly released game that involves killing zombies in a brutal hack-and-slash style. As a survivor in a city overrun by the undead, the player must choose from a few available characters and fight off enemies using a variety of weapons. But you don’t have to do it alone. You can invite your friends and fight against zombies in co-op. In this guide we will tell you how many players you can invite to the game.

How Many Players Can Play in a Co-op

Co-op in Dead Island 2 is for maximum 3 players. Difficulty level adjusts automatically, so you don’t have to worry about that. Regardless of the mode (single or multiplayer) the experience is the same. You don’t have to be worried about any missing content.

How to unlock co-op in Dead Island 2

You can’t play with friends from the beginning. You have to unlock co-op by completing first few story missions. It will take you around 1 hour (maybe a little more, depending on the playstyle).
