Ryan Reynolds earns heaps not only from his participation in movies. The actor just raked in millions thanks to a business he runs on the side.
Ryan Reynolds is not only a high-earning actor, but also a highly successful businessman. Fans of the star are certainly aware that he manages, among other things, on his own brand of liquor, called Aviation Gin. Now, however, the Canadian has managed to earn almost $300 million thanks to yet another branch of business - mobile telephony.
Ryan Reynolds raked in additional earnings thanks to shares he owned in the Mint Mobile network. As BBC reports, the star had about 25% of shares in the aforementioned company. However, the mobile operator was bought by T-Mobile, and thanks to this transaction, the actor Deadpool will earn nearly $300 million. Indeed, T-Mobile is the second largest mobile network in the United States.
Owning such money, Reynolds could easily afford to filmDeadpool 3 on his own. Recall that the previous part of the franchise cost $110 million. He could, but of course he doesn't have to, and can limit himself to his acting role. He will also take in a not inconsiderable sum for his participation in the production. Typically, he cashes in around $20 million for an appearance in a film, remaining one of the highest earning actors.
We will still have to wait for the latest installment of the production directed by Shawn Levy. World premiere of Deadpool 3 has been announced for November 8, 2024.
