Bringing Dead to Life in Photos With Deep Nostalgia Becomes Hot a Topic

MyHeritage has launched Deep Nostalgia, an intriguing service that uses artificial intelligence to bring to life a photo of people or even entire figure, turning them into animations using special algorithms.

The development of artificial intelligence, although it not easy, successively shows that it is something important for the world and can give amazing results. A proof of this is a service developed by the Israeli company D-ID - Deep Nostalgia, based on deepfake technology, which can revive not only old photos, but also entire figurescaptured in them using a special algorithm.

Interestingly, after uploading a photo, the system first restores it and then creates a short animated movie in the form of a .gif file. To use the system, users just need to sign up for a free MyHeritage account and then upload a photo of their choice, which can be taken with any camera. AI supports both new and old photos. The latter are particularly popular among internet users, where they often animate photos of their deceased relatives.

paid version, which removes this limitation.
