We learned today that the special edition of Devil May Cry 5, which will go to Xbox Series S consoles will not support ray tracing technology.
One of the launch titles for next-gen consoles is to be an improved edition of Devil May Cry 5, which will be released in a few weeks on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, offering up to 120 fps, as well as reduced loading times. The version intended for Microsoft's more powerful console will also support 4K resolution and Direct X Ray Tracing technology. However, we found out that Xbox Series S users will not experience ray tracing when playing DMC 5. This is obviously due to technical limitations of the weaker console.
