New Gameplay From Diablo Immortal is a Warm-up Before Launch

Diablo Immortal is coming soon to PC and mobile devices, and Game Informer reminds us of this free-to-play game with new gameplay footage.

The release of Diablo Immortal is just around the corner. The mobile version of the infernal hack'n'slash game was remembered by Game Informer, which published a video with new footage from the game. The gameplay is available below, with only a part of it consisting of new footage (until the 07:00 mark).

The footage was shown as part of the New Gameplay Today series. In this episode, host John Carson was joined by two developers Diablo Immortal: Joe Grubb (lead designer of the game) and Scott Burgess (senior designer). Both men said quite a bit about the game's story background, returning characters etc.

It is worth noting that the footage shows the game running on both PC and mobile devices. It enables us to compare the graphics in both versions of the game, although it was not decided to make a direct comparison using the same locations.

Diablo Immortal will debut on June 2 on PC and mobile devices; on the former platform it will be released in the form of open beta. The release version will include a lot of changes compared to the tests, as announced by Blizzard Entertainment in an interview with selected content creators (via Wowhead). For example, an armory will be added to the game (which will enable us to save "builds" for PvP battles, Ancient Rift expeditions, etc.) and modifications improving player comfort (the so-called QoL).
