E3 Open to All for Free; No Paid Access Planned

This year's E3 will be enjoyed by all players. The event will be fully free.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Access to E3 will be available at no charge;
  • Organizers debunked rumors of paid access.

Yesterday, rumors appeared on the web, according to which this year's E3 might not be fully free. Some of the scheduled presentations would be behind a paywall. Fortunately today we can put these reports between the fairy tales. The organizers of the event themselves referred to the matter. Access to all E3 pressentations is to remain fully free.

The organizers at the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) reacted very quickly to the rumors. Most likely, they wanted to avoid unnecessary controversy that could have arisen among the gamers. The author of the information about the planned introduction of a paywall, however, defends his article. According to him, the sources from which he drew his knowledge are reliable, and the organizers of E3 really planned to introduce fees for access to part of the presentations.

Leaving aside the disagreements between the ESA and VGC editors, one thing is essential news for gamers. All of the announcements scheduled for E3 will be available without paying for access. What exactly will they include, we will probably find out soon.
