Based on Sony's patent application, a fan created a project of PlayStation 5's interface. According to the design, the console's menu will be an extension of the PS4 layout.

We are a few weeks away from the launch of PlayStation 5. At the last conference Sony told us the console's price and release date. However, we do not know about many things yet. One of them is the interface, which is shrouded in mystery. A fan concept created based on a patent filed by Sony gives us an insight into how PS5's menu may look like.

PS5's interface will most likely be an extension of the tile layout known from PlayStation 4. The top left corner will show users present on the console, a friend list icon and messages. Below we will see large tiles, probably changing depending on the title we are running. At the very bottom, we will see the representing the games installed on the console's storage. We can confront the vision of the interface with the official patent filed by Sony, which is visible will find below.

Of course, the artist's vision must be approached with a grain of salt. It is not said that the patent will correspond 100% to the final product. Let's hope Sony doesn't delay and we'll soon see the interface of PlayStation 5.
