Far Cry 6 - Release Date Confirmed; No Steam Release

During the Ubisoft Forward show, the trailers of Far Cry 6 were released. We also learned the game's release date and the devs confirmed that the game will not go to Steam.

The last game shown during Ubisoft Forward conference was Far Cry 6, another installment of the popular open-world FPS series. The publisher wasn't able to keep pretty much anything secret, because earlier the first information and the story trailer leaked to the Internet.

The trailer appeared on the presentation but was preceded by a new animated intro of the game. In addition, rumors about the release date, which was set for February 18, next year, were confirmed.

Far Cry 6 is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, PS5 and the Google Stadia streaming platform.

The official website of the game has already been launched, so we found out that the PC version will not be available on Steam, only through Uplay and Epic Games Store. This was no surprise, as Ubisoft has been using such publishing tactic for all its games for some time now.
