FIFA 22 Career Mode in New Trailer

EA Sports unveiled a new trailer for FIFA 22. The trailer reveals details of the improved Career Mode.

There's more to FIFA than FUT - EA Sports is aware of this and subsequent installments also include classic single-player variants. FIFA 22, announced for October 1, will be no different. The trailer reveals the details of the career mode, in which we will be able to play the role of a manager or a player. You can watch the footage below.

By choosing the path of the manager, we will be able to create our own club from scratch - including the design of the crest, outfit and stadium - or choose any of the existing clubs. We can start off in one of the top leagues, but there's also nothing to stop us from climbing up the divisions to reach the elite and play in the European cups. As a manager we'll also define our team philosophy (e.g. whether we want to emphasize youth development) and we'll have to meet the goals set by the club's board (different depending on which league level our team currently plays in).

Almost like Emirates Stadium. Almost. Source: EA.

Choosing the role of a footballer, we'll have to take care of our disposition both during the trainings and in the matches. On it will depend the assessment of the manager, which is to be the key to leaving the reserves and warming the bench, and then to regular appearances in the first eleven. Trainings and matches (in each of the latter we'll receive specific tasks to perform as standard) will be rewarded with experience, which in turn will provide us with skill points.

EA talks about 26 perks, and here we have 29. Interesting. Source: EA.

These will be distributed in six categories, connected with the physical characteristics of the player, his defensive qualities, dribbling, passing, shooting, speed and goalkeeping skills. There will also be perks, which are passive attributes that provide us with an advantage on the pitch. There will be a total of 26 of them, but we can use only three at a time. Some will improve our shots from distance, others will improve our passing accuracy and yet another will increase our defensive attributes in the final quarter of the game and in stoppage time. The full list can be found here.

And that's not all, because EA decided to increase the immersion of the created player and introduced post-match locker room scenes, which are to reflect the attitude of players on the pitch. We can also count on a brand new commentary by former Arsenal defender, Alex Scott.

FIFA 22 will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, XONE, XSX|S and Switch. We'd like to remind you that the game will differ depending on the platform, on which it will be purchased. For details, I refer you to this message.
