Free update for Star Wars: Squadrons adds new ships to the game - the B-wing and TIE Defender. Patch 4.0 also fixes a lot of bugs, improves in-game matchmaking and implements TrackIR controller support.
The success of Star Wars: Squadrons made Electronic Arts decide to increase the support for the title. The previous update added a new map - Fostar Haven - to the online mode. The latest one complements the game with two vessles, one per faction. Rebels get the iconic B-wing, and the Empire - TIE Defender.
In addition to new content, improved balance and fixes, the recently added map has also been improved. The image quality on PlayStation 5 has also been improved by fixing the blurring bug. Patch also affected the VR version on PlayStation 4, where a rare bug that causes duplication in the game has been resolved.
